We visited India Gate on Elmwood Ave. for lunch on a recent trip to Buffalo and the food, as usual, was fantastic! They offer many vegan options, so we had lots of choices. We decided to try some new vegan dishes, rather than our usual fare of Gobi Alu and Dal, since we had enjoyed eating here many times in the past and we were feeling adventurous. We ordered the Jeera Alu and the Baingan Bhartha and both were simply amazing!! Highly recommend these dishes. We forgot to order...
I visited this place with my family to US. We ordered snacks like vegetable Manchurian, Gobi Manchurian, and beverages like Mango lassi, strawberry lassi and fig lassi (must try it) for main course paneer achari dish, garlic naan and complimentary rice. The staff gave you a lot of space and were not very present in the restaurant. The snacks itself was tasty but paneer achari on sour side not like that soo much.
