WOW! We are SO impressed with India Gate! For my husband's 70th birthday party, we asked India Gate to cater dinner for 22 guests. After submitting a form online, chef Jaspal Bath called to discuss the menu to be sure everything was set and to our satisfaction. On the day of the dinner, Jaspal himself brought the food to us and helped us set it up the trays in our kitchen in an order that would sense for the buffet. He was prompt and kind. The food itself was fantastic, and most of our guests expressed how good it was and asked about the caterer. Highly recommended!! Thank you Jaspal!

This place was so good we had to come back! We were in town for a family visit, and came here on a Saturday. Samosas, cauliflower, Chana masala and dal were all perfectly spiced and very tasty. I chose a spice level of 2 (medium) and it was warm without being too much. We came back on Monday, upped the spice level to a 3, and ordered the baingan bhartha instead of the dal just to change it up. It was perfectly spiced and really nice. A glass of wine and a Kingfisher lager rounded out the meal. If you are looking for a treat, this is definitely the place.

We drove up from New York City to Buffalo and, by chance, discovered India Gate while searching for an Indian restaurant. To our pleasant surprise, we were warmly greeted by Jas Pal, whose hospitality set the tone for the evening. The appetizers were outstanding, the food tasted truly homemade, and the dessert was absolutely delightful. India Gate is without a doubt a hidden gem in Buffalo—highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic Indian cuisine.

Went there on a Thursday and it was pretty nice inside. Host was very approachable and attentive and informative on suggestions since I never had Indian Food before. I always seen Biryanis being made online so I obviously got the House Special Biryani and a vegetarian dish: Malai Kofta. And there was a buffet as well and we got a take out container to try the variety of food they serve as well. All the food we got and ate was nom nom. We are totally coming back here again! What a great experience like seriously! Flavors weren’t too bold, it was just right. Thank you 😊 ✌️
