JJ'S Cafe was a wonderful experience! We came from out of town to visit our son... delicious food, friendly family staff, great coffee and affordable prices. Next time we are in Buffalo, we will definitely go back!

I've been coming to this place for over 5 years now. Usually they serve good food freshly made. I'm not sure, if this is for to COVID-19 restrictions or some other reason, but the food quality has run off a cliff. We ordered chola bhatura and we could see it was frozen, taken out the fridge, put in a bowl, water was added and microwaved. The bhatura breads were not bhaturas at all but frozen parathas. We ordered an orange juice which came straight from a cheap bottle. Previously, this was freshly squeezed or at least tasted way better. If I had to eat frozen food I would never want to spend over 30 bucks eating. It's unfortunate that such a highly rated and appreciated place has become this. I hope this place can revamp itself to its former glory.

This mom and pop joint makes some of the best chicken tandoori sandwiches I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. it's a flavor and heat filled meal that starts any day off the right way

I like the food there, it is delicious and good value. Keep in mind they only accept cash. The only thing that bothers is wait time yet it's worth the wait.

It is a small family owned brunch place. There isn't that many tables so if you go on the weekend, you might have to wait a bit. The chicken tandoori sandwich was really good! I didn't really like the garbage plate brunch. The owner is really nice and funny! The only downside was there is no AC so it was really hot and humid inside the store. I would definitely go back for more of that sandwich.

JJ’s cafe at Buffalo, NY- best possible breakfast in the Niagara Falls area , very well handled by the wonderful elderly couple , who run the place - breakfast for about 15, served in under an hour, at less than 10$ pp .. brilliant!

This place doesn't look all extravagant and exciting on the outside but you should not look a gift horse in the Mouth. You should just come on inside and ask questions later, I stopped in here because I had a dental checkup at UB Dental and I thought this would be a nice start to kill a few hours gabbing a bite to eat here. You walk in and you see, what else a few tables lining half of the Restaurant with a few families occupying them, some Booths up at the counter just waiting for you to plant your behind in there so you can indulge on Breakfast. But what entices you is the charming personality of a middle aged man by the name of JJ who brings so much charisma and personality when he cooks for his Guests. Make sure you don't show any Bad Attitude as they have a sign hanging on the Wall that says: If your Grouchy, Irritable or just plain mean there will be a $10 Charge for putting up with you. I ordered myself something I usually get, Overeasy Eggs with Homefries and Rye Toast. What I love about overeasy is that the White is cooked all the way through while the Yolk is still runny once you break into it, the Toast was perfectly crisp (especially the edges). My Homefries while were both seasoned nicely and very crispy, I did not like that he cooked them with both Green Bell Peppers & White Onions (which kind of turned me off a bit). But what didn't turn me off was the Service & hospitality that I experienced here, after cleaning up in the Back I was well on my way back outside. Be sure to come inside and see what's going on firsthand before you make judgement about this Place. Food was good, service was great and somedays they have certain Specials like when I was there they had Chicken Masala. With one step into JJ's, there no chance you'll be able to stay Away. !!!

After coming here for 20 years, it's time to write a review. This place is the best of the best in Buffalo. Indescribable amount of memories were made here over a cup of coffee and their famous breakfast specials. Several generations of my family have visited here on a weekly or daily basis and I make sure to stop in when I'm in town every time. The food is always delicious and never changes. Proud to support this wonderful family business.

The best diner you'll ever go to . You'll feel like family your first time. Everyone know me everyone even if they don't know you. The owner is so sweet. It's the size of a shoebox but in the best way.
