This establishment was recommended by a friend and decided to check the place out. The first thing I noticed before entering was being unsure if the establishment was open, due to the unkept exterior and the gate over the front windows. When I entered, the air smelled stale and the lady at the register engaged in a conversation with a person, who was either a customer or visitor. Unsure if this was an eat-in, but I noticed clutter around the small dining area. I was never greeted, nor was my presence ever acknowledged by the host who immediately went to the back after completing their conversation with their visitor/customer. It was a very bad first impression and didnât feel welcomed. I departed without a menu soon afterâŠ..not a good look.

My food was cold and it took hour and half to get my food. After warming food was rubbery. The egg roll wasn't tasty. The haddock wasn't good. I will wait and try them out again. Very expensive, and greesy food.

I saw this place on social media and wanted to stop in to support this local black-owned business for breakfast. They serve lunch and dinner as well.
I ordered a few different things off the menu since they were running some specials, including the fried shrimp, grits, the breakfast eggrolls, which I got with bacon and egg, as well as the breakfast sandwich, which I got with sausage patties.
Everything was delicious and I really enjoyed everything I got! The breakfast eggrolls are a little on the greasy side, so something to keep in mind for the future.
They were pretty busy that morning so it took a minute to get my pick up order but you can call ahead/order online to place orders which I definitely would to save you some time in the future.

My 1st time and last time coming here unfortunately I order the big girl two of them was way overpriced my fish was old was gray in the middle didnât even eat grits was watery and the bacon was horrible

Our first time trying this place , they was nice , great music, and our food was so good we got the loaded grits and a haddock dinner everything was fresh and seasoned good

First and last time ever going to this place way overcharged? And the macaroni and cheese tastes like Velveeta right out of a box. There was nothing baked about it and to make it worse, the vegetables aren't even fresh or frozen, but out of a can. To make matters worse, all of the side dishes were stacked and placed on top of the container with the chicken. So the beans spilled all over everything. They weren't even put in a separate bag. S m h never again

I ordered my food at 11:21 did not get my food till 1pm it was cold and not tasty at all this first and last time ordering form here and the cost of the orange juice is ridiculous. And that was the only thing that was warm. Cold food warm drink. Thanks for ruining my breakfast. $40 dollars never again and yes I only got one breakfast an a orange juice.

Ordered breakfast and spents over $50 which was not worth it in my opinion. The eggs were cold, no cheese. Bacon overcooked and dry! 1 pancake which was very thin and did not taste good. The pastelito doesnât even look good.
