The guy working the register was also preparing food with the same gloves he was wearing after accepting cash. Gross.
Amazingggg cheesesteak!
Maybe it was late night and I was starving but the food was delicious!
Did get a second to-go the next day, so couldn't have been the munchies lol!
Very chill staff, would definitely recommend if you're downtown.
Love this location. It's always busy, but worth the wait - especially after a show/concert in the area.
The guys that hand over your food look like anime poses and I'm here for it.
Took almost an hour to get onion rings and poutine bc the workers couldn't stop fighting with each other.
Small but functional waiting area (I can't handle large crowds) outlets near benches for customers convenience too, kind service, had my child with me and manager even brought us out our food. Only thing was no ramp but I may not have seen it
The best stake sandwitch ever
Great place to go at 3 in the morning or anytime for good fast food
Probably the best sandwich I’ve had. They have subs and other things. They make all the meat fresh in front of you. Definitely would come back again!
food was really good especially at 2:00 in the morning and was pretty quick to get from the time you place the order

Took 30 min to get a cheeseburger, and even after all this time - and after leaving I realized that I did not receive everything that I order in the bag.
Taste was basically non existing, my recommendation is to rather go hungry than go here. Doing this will not only save you time and money, but also a bad experience.

Good value for money.
We had a burger and a wrap to take away, it was very good. The portions of fries are generous.
Fantastic food, decent prices, long-ish wait times. Food is made to order.

If only you could give more than 5 stars…
Jim’s has been there for me at 11 am, 5 pm, 3 am - and just about any time in between. In inebriation, sobriety, or somewhere in the middle - Jim’s doesn’t judge… they just provide the BEST food, every single time.
Jim’s on Chippewa has been a go-to for about 20 years, and the service is still incredible - and food is hot and fresh. The 12” Chicken Finger Sub (and sometimes the Stinger) is generally my go to, and if you’re not the biggest blue cheese fan, feel free to sub for mayo. Everything is made to order, and it’s great value for the price. Their weekly sub deal is also a great choice for a lower price point.
I’d recommend ordering in advance online to avoid longer waits (as I mentioned - it’s all made fresh), and if you’re looking for seating - it might be better to try the Allentown location (this one has a few stools, but if you’re there when it’s busy… they’re typically occupied).
The portions and quality punch above their weight at Jim’s. It’s not typical fast food - these sandwiches are phenomenal, just served in a fast food setting.
Parking: There’s parking outside on Chippewa, but if it’s a busy night on the Chip Strip, you’ll probably have to park further away and make your way back. If you’re picking up during the day, usually no issues stopping right out front.
