The steak hoagie or Philly is always a hit after a night out. Love their late hours on weekends.
One time many years ago, as it was throwing my wrappings into the garbage can, the flip-top smacked my ring and knocked out a pretty good-sized amethyst. When I saw that I threw the ring in the garbage. The manager of Jim's Steakout on the corner of Allen Street and Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo New York saw me do that, and went through that huge nasty dirty bag of garbage twice looking for the amethyst, twice! He even opened up leftover subs! He found the ring but never the amethyst. After that, every time I went into the place I asked to see Bobby, and have always called him my hero! I have since moved to Montana, but I will never forget that day and you Bobby! Thanks again! Parking: Street.. can be difficult to find on busy weekends
The food was mostly good. We ordered a Philly steak, steak deluxe and a stinger hoagie. The only issue was large tough pieces of gristle in the deluxe steak hoagie that I nearly choked on.

The last 2 times I have ordered from this location i have been incredibly disappointed. Last week my coworker and I ordered hoagie his steak, mine stinger. Mine was so overfill and sloppy I needed a fork and got some hard chewy pieces of inedible steak. This time we decided on combos. 1/4 cheeseburger for him, beef taco for me. His cheeseburger was bone dry, no lettuce, tomato, pickle just a sad burger on a toasted bun. My taco was barely in tact, fell apart completely in my hands. My suggestion if you order from this location is to bring a bowl, fork and bib because everything you get just falls apart into a horrible mess. Oh and everything was cold despite being the only order they were making and my being there to pick it up before it was even ready. So sadly I won't be spending any more money here which is a shame be cause I used to absolutely love this place but quality control just seems to have gone out the window.
