I had to immediately come and leave a review. I called to request an alteration to one of their menu items on UberEats and I spoke to a gentlemen. I asked instead of eggplant can they do shrimp because I don't eat meat. He took the time to go to the kitchen and ask the chef. When he came back to the phone he said it would be hard to do it through UberEats because of the up charge. I completely understood and hung up. He called me back and said their was an alternative option through UberEats and they should be able to make it for me! I could literally cry because it's not everyday someone goes above and beyond. It truly touched my heart! Thank you so much!

If I could eat here every night of my life I'd be happy forever! Every single time we go here the food and service is amazing. I love their menu and their options and how they constantly switch up their menu. This is such a cute spot on Hertel and in my experience you really can't have a bad meal here. I highly recommend trying it out especially if you've never been!

Upon recommendation from many people in the area, we went here for the first time tonight for our 9th wedding anniversary. They did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly! We will definitely be back for more special occasions in the future!

The pizzas are incredible ! Great date night spot. Love supporting the local businesses, especially during this time of social distancing. I ordered the 716pizza and added prosciutto on top. Also ordered one of their famous cutlets (chicken Milanese salad). I love to cook but been craving food from here. Service is always wonderful. Only a matter of time before I can enjoy a cocktail on their patio :)

I ordered out. The delivery person, through grub hub, brought my food fresh and hot. I ordered the 7 cheese pizza, a Cesar salad and bread. The pizza was large, the composition of the toppings was yummy. When picked up a tasty looking slice, the toppings and cheese slide right off. I was able to fold the slice and when I picked it up the toppings stayed on, but the slice needed to be transferred directly to my plate. Once I could get a bite, it was delicious. I was disappointed by the salad and the bread though. The salad was just romane lettuce and croutons, and the dressing was bitter and oily. The bread was just 3 thin slices of white french bread. Over all I give the pizza a 7, the bread a 3, and the salad a 2. I would order the pizza again, but hold the side dishes and avoid the salads.
Nice place for an intimate dinner. We got a salad, a pizza with arugula on it and their roasted brussel sprouts. Three of us shared and it was plenty of food.

This is good Italian food on Hertel ---- not the best in town, but good. But if I'm SOLELY reviewing the meatballs, they're in the top 5 of all meatballs eaten in my life, including at Mulberry Restaurant in Lackawanna. I'm not Italian American, so my palate may be naive. The server was friendly, helpful and attentive and he allowed me and my associate to sample two red wines (we ended up selecting the Barbera). The Garden Salad was tasty and the creamy dill dressing? Choose it. I ordered 'The Special' entree of the night, a blush sauce pasta with Sambuca, Shrimp and Greens. It was a huge portion and just a tad bit too sweet for me but good. My associate selected the Pesto Salmon and it was broiled nicely BUT a tad too salty but he ate it all.

La Tavola is my favorite place in buffalo for a bougie pizza. It is consistently amazing. It is a great date spot or a nice night out with the family. The plates are reasonably price and I have not had a bad thing yet. The roasted brussels, meatball and burrata are some of the best I have ever had.
