Happened to be near this place during the day. Went in for lunch and got the brisket Mac and cheese. It was excellent. Plenty of signs in the parking lot to show you where the entrance is. It’s tucked back there, but keep going, it’s worth it.

there were no arrows or signs in the parking lot to even tell you where the restaurant is, we had to ask someone because it's not even visible from the parking lot, it's all the way in the back, hidden away. When you open the door to the building there is a musty smell, but the area where the tables were to eat inside was clean and the atmosphere was nice. We arrived right at 4:00 p.m. when they opened, we were the only people there, and our food was not ready until 50 minutes later!! My friend had the chicken and he said it was really great. He did not care for the kale slaw. I ordered the brisket burnt ends and the gouda macaroni and cheese topped with ribs. The burnt ends were tender, but not particularly flavorful, just mediocre. The rib meat on top of the macaroni and cheese was decent, it was fairly tender, and the macaroni and cheese itself was fantastic, very cheesy! The cornbread that came with the meal was mediocre. It's so hard to find amazing barbecue in buffalo, the only thing I would have eaten again from this place was the macaroni and cheese. If you're looking for great brisket ibbq4u is really flavorful and tender. And if you're out of the city anywhere towards Dunkirk , angry Bird BBQ has the best burnt ends! We would not come back to this place unfortunately. The girl that worked there was very nice, but nobody wants to wait 50 minutes for their food to come out.

This place ruined tacos for me because theirs were the best I've ever had! I had the shrimp, burnt ends, and the oxtail tacos with their special sauce. Get either the apple slaw or rice on them and easily 10/10. Also tried the greens as a side which to no surprise was also incredible

Talk about a hidden gem! It was so worth the drive coming here. The food was AMAZING and the service was great. We will be back...maybe even tomorrow!
Definitely got to make the trip here. Brisket is delicious burnt ends even better and I was wildly impressed with the mashed potatoes. We ran into one of the owners and he was so friendly and inviting. It’s a nice clean little spot and very nice staff. Id give it 6 stars if I could.

I haven’t been in person yet. But let me tell you if I could rate customer service more than a 5 I would. The love I know goes into this food and the attention shows in the food. It abundant and fairly priced. What a gem and I’m glad I got to finally have it. Round of applause!

This place deserves 5 stars. Hands down nicest place, in staff and food by miles. Super allergy friendy. The best brisket I've had NY and east in over 15 years. The flavors are amazing, all the sides are made without the typical crutches and made with real ingredients and amazing spices. Fair prices for the quality. Dog lovers <3

La Verdada Cafe hits every single time! I just tried the pulled pork quesadilla today and it was bussin and fully loaded! Honestly everything I've tried here is great! My usuals are taco's, the stretch mark, rice bowls and kale apple slaw. Coming from a person who does not like cole slaw, I'd highly recommend the kale apple slaw! This is the only slaw I'll eat! It's like no other! And lastly, the portions are thick! No skimpy-ness here! If you're ever in Buffalo looking for some good BBQ, make sure you come here!

This place has some of the best smoked meats I’ve ever had. The owner was also very friendly and even personally checked on each table to make sure everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for some quality smoked meats.

Pulled pork, beans and coleslaw were delicious! Service was great, very pleasant and polite! Will definitely go back.
Cool spot located inside of a community center. Def a local hidden gem. I’ve heard about it for ages and finally was able to make it over. Delicious bbq, come early if you want to try their ribs. I was able to try their brisket and ox tail. Both tender and delicious. I was not able to eat their sides due to food allergies. The owner is also the chef and she’s friendly and outgoing. She went out of her way to greet us and check in.
