I trusted you, Guy Fieri. I'd heard such great things about this diner. I give grace and understanding that they were understaffed. However, the experience I had was less than satisfactory. It was not very busy when we walked in and we were sat right away. We then waited a while before our drinks were taken. During that time, a couple came in and sat at the counter, a young man came in and sat at the counter, and a couple ladies sat in a booth. When I got my coffee, it tasted like it had been roasting too long and nothing I did made the underlying burnt taste go away. Shortly after we put our order in, the young man from before was overheard complaining about something not good in his omelet. The table with the ladies ordered with complications as well. They ordered milkshakes when they were sat, as their drink order. Waters were brought to them and then their orders were taken. One of their meals came out incorrect and was sent back. They had to get those milkshakes to go because they weren't made in time. The waitress told the table that their shakes were actively being made, but then we watched the waitress start making them herself a few minutes after that was said. By that time the table was ready to go. She'd served everyone else what they needed, full breakfasts, but seemed to be pushing off the milkshakes. She knew they needed to be done, but continued to take and fulfill new orders. The couple and the young man who sat at the counter, who came in about the same time as the ladies, were all done and gone. They were clearly upset about it. They wanted the shakes with their meals, not as desserts to go. Now for us. My husband had absolutely no complaints about his entire meal. My meal was also pretty good. I was disappointed that I did not personally prefer whatever the default sausage patties were. I'm going to assume turkey sausage because it only said the meal came with sausage and didnt specify. They just tasted different, so it was unexpected. The patties were also cooked differently. One was a little undercooked and one was a little overcooked. The potatoes for the home fries were large cut. Cooked well, but smaller pieces get a little crispier. I suppose personal preference on that, too. Eggs were perfectly over easy. Bacon was good but a little bland. My pancake was perfect on one side and a little overcooked on the other side, but the maple butter made it better for sure. Again, I understand they were understaffed, but the service could've been a little more efficient and the food a little more consistent.

Very nice place, a Time Machine when back to the 70s, very friendly and professional servers, the food great!!!but lady’s bathroom very bad smell and not clean!!! Yes definitely will be back but use the bathrooms!!!

Cutest place ever!!! Old style Diner with a lot of charm. I had the Ruben and although nor traditional in the sense of stacked meat, it had alllll the flavors and then some!!! Staff was super friendly. Extremely clean. 100% will visit again when in the area!!!

Ordered a hot buffalo wrap - got a wrap with no buffalo sauce on it at all. Customer next to me ordered eggs over medium, got them over hard cooked all the way through. This place has gone down in the years I’ve been in Buffalo. I really used to enjoy coming here. I won’t be back soon.
Restaurant tables and booths are in desperate need of a refresh, particularly for the prices charges for breakfast.

I genuinely don’t know what anyone with any negative feedback about this food is thinking. Easily on par with the best diner food in the country. How the other diners in the area have a higher rating than this place is baffling; it’s clearly the superior option.
