We went for my birthday .It was their first day open for lunch at Christmas. This is a wonderful restaurant .The 50 years in business have been kind to them. The room is lovely , the service is seamless and the food is terrific. We brought a very good Burgundian Pinot and they were very gracious in the service of it .We will be back ;hopefully before my next birthday !!

Lovely meal from start to finish. We came impromptu on a Thursday evening around 8:30 after a long workday and they were very friendly despite us not having a reservation and able to seat us right away.
We started with oysters which were superb, and the house bread. I had the halibut special which tasted very fresh, and my husband had fazzaoletti, a creamy pasta with mushroom and duck prosciutto. We enjoyed a couple tasty cocktails, and finished with a shared scoop of Greco Di Tufo gelato and espresso. Honestly the perfect meal on a rainy evening after a busy workday!

Their experience was excellent. I went with someone who frequenced their. They knew her right off. The bat said hello and hello to us. We valed the car and our coats. The waiter Lewis very gracious, entertaining and knew his stuff about the restaurant and the food
Both my boyfriend and I could not stop RAVING about this restaurant on the drive home. The best calamari, clams, and carrot cake we have ever had. My boyfriend does not like clams, and said they were amazing. Overall, best restaurant experience we have EVER had. Amazing amazing food. Amazing amazing service. Absolutely will be returning!

Lobster ravioli was perfect, plenty of gluten free options and wonderful wine selection.
Amazing. Simply put everything was perfect for my wife's birthday. We were visiting the city playing tourists we had reservations. Simply one of the top ten places I've ever eaten, and ive bee. To Rome. Amsterdam a lot of the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
The wait staff.. tremendous I wish I had them at every restaurant. Attentive, even the ones not working our table that helped us out.
The food, it was close to the food I had in Roma.. the pizza 10 for 10. The ceaser salad was amazing and I never eat salad. The pastas I wanted to order 3 plates to go. The desserts. They had me liking goat cheese cheesecake... like im Greek over here.
If im ever in Buffalo again and the doors are open im going. You should too!

First I want to say that everyone was so welcoming and smiles all around. It was my birthday and there was a birthday card at the table signed by all the employees. Everyone wished me a happy birthday! Our tableside Caeser salad was the best I have ever had. I would go again just for the salad. I had the Tagliatelle Bolognese and my hubs had the carbonara both were cooked to perfection. They waitress was great and timed everything perfectly. We will be back!

Lombardo's is one of the few restaurants that can be described as an institution in this town. It's also one of the few restaurants on the higher end of the price scale that's actually worth it.
