Went here for Happy Hour, the lady that seated us said we can sit at a table as long as we eat (which was our intent since we thought the happy hour drink & food menu looked good but the way she said it wasn’t very nice). We ordered a chicken sandwich and a burger and fries. Burger was great and so were the fries. The chicken was way over cooked, more breading than chicken and subpar to be honest. Lacked flavor of any kind. Service was ok, our waitress wasn’t personable at all, didn’t smile either. Almost seemed bothered we were there. There was a man who kept walking up and down the aisle which was fine but almost uncomfortable after 15 minutes. I’d assume a manager or owner with the way he was glancing at all the tables.
The atmosphere is really nice. Dim lighting but very comfortable and nice.

This place was really nice.... Big factory Warehouse. Kind of motif.... Very trendy, bearded bartenders.... And even with all that.... They knew how to make a good Manhattan... For a somewhat reasonable price... Out of regular old bourbon... The food was amazing.... Brisket sliders were out of this world.... Wedge salad. was super duper ...but I would get the dressing On the side.... It was many times more than, I would have needed..... But I every bite of it anyway, that's how good it was...?.... I would definitely recommend... The hostess certainly had the mostest,, big smile, witty, funny and did her job exceptionally well..

Parking: I don't go downtown too much.... But $9:50 seemed a bit steep for 2 hours... But maybe I'm just old.... Apparently I could have been $850 at 5:00. Would have used the app... I call b******* on that. I had to do the effort of walking up to the box and they charged me a dollar more... B*******... Not much effort but still that's kind of ridiculous..

Because you guys own Ballyhoo, i had to change my 5 star review of this place to a one star review, the apple don’t fall far from the tree, I think management needs a revamp all the way around at all establishments.

A must go when in Buffalo for the night. I ate the best fried pickles anywhere in this extremely charming restaurant. Not to mention, the burger was second to none. Our server claimed she was new to waitressing but was the most attentive without being overly burdensome. Her guidance led to some amazing drinks and dining experiences. The night I went, they had a really nice jazz band. I'm not sure if that's every Saturday.

Great food, great atmosphere but awkward towards Black people. The hostess and the wait staff are very rude. The employees need Bias and DEI training

The first time I went here was with my girlfriend; we had an amazing dinner, the atmosphere and the waitress were fantastic. However it's the second and third time that lead to my refusal to return.

Several months ago a friend of mine, who's a whiskey nut, was in from out of town and I thought he would have a good time at this bar. Everything was fine until by mistake I pushed the glass cleaner at the bar which sprayed water into the air. At that point, embarrassed, I tried to apologize and give the bartender a tip as an apology. She has walked into the area between the bar kitchen and dining areas. Several employees then decided to scream in my face and tell me I was out of line, couldn't go back there, and threw insults. It was at this point that someone came out of the kitchen and used a racial epithet towards the girl I was there with. It was at THIS point it became nearly a fist fight, which I take responsibility for. We left and haven't been back for several months.

Just tonight my friend and I went in to get a drink just by ourselves, going to put the past behind us and wipe the slate clean. However the bartender, instead of admitting the wrong that one of his colleagues had done it trying to have a clean start, refused service and when told the reason for last time's altercation, said "well maybe you deserved it. Neither of you are getting served here." It's on this basis that I refuse to ever give another dollar to this place. No one deserves racism thrown at them. Nobody deserves petulant arrogance. And no one should have to pay for the mistakes of others. It's obvious that this establishment is run by snobs or at least employees them. It also seems that everyone there is complacent in the disgrace of their colleagues.

My wife and I had an absolutely horrible experience at Lucky Day Whiskey Bar.

My wife and I recently got married in Buffalo and we figured we would stop by for a drink after our reception with our wedding party. As soon as we entered the bar the staff was nothing but rude and impolite. None of the wedding party was loud or acting inappropriate. The staff treated us horrifically. They were rude, short, nasty, and they couldn’t be bothered with us even though we picked their bar as a stop after our wedding day. It was super sad for my wife and I on our special wedding day. Lucky Day Whiskey does not represent what Buffalo is all about. If you’re looking for a nice place to grab a drink at the end of the day I would stay away. There are plenty of other restaurants and bars in Buffalo that would love to take care of you.
