food is good , I order salmon fish on pasta and I love it , the stake sandwich was ok , the drinks great and pretty strong , definitely go there again . The dip with nachos was kinda dry ( the dips ) I’ll give 4.5 if I can
Where is Moshe? He had to refund weewee cookies for me. His friends were all invited to his place and I was kicked out because he put so much money for interior. He said I did not deserve, but his friends did.
We were seated next to the patio door which kept opening and closing and was very drafty and loud. We had to ask for a menu but was only given one outdated one. They want you to scan the menu to your phone and I didn't have the app to do that. The menu was small without a lot of options. The burger I ordered was overcooked and the roll was burned and the fries were on the cold side and soggy. The shrimp dish was very skimpy for $18. Food definitely was nothing to write home about. This place looks alot better from the outside. Heard the manager yelling at one of the servers to "Get back in there". I won't be going back there again.
Hard to decide what I wanted. Everything looked great. Great food great service. Parking is typical for hertel avenue. The recommend reservations.
French onion soup was luke warm, what little cheese was on it was hard as a rock. Flatbread pizza was barely warm. Some parts were actually cold. Not very busy. Waitress said, oh sorry. Never came around to ask how the food was until we were done with it. Wont be back. Too many better places to go on Hertel.
I know times are tough, but consistency in food preparation is the key about if I'm a return customer Macs is teetering on not
Service was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was nice. Food was mediocre and wasn't very flavorful. Wasn't bad and everything was prepared as requested, just was very underwhelming. Also wasn't very crowded, I'd use this as more of a back up place for brunch than a primary destination.
Had a reservation for 6:30, after flagging down 3 different servers we finally got one after sitting for 25 minutes. The server seemed annoyed to have to wait on us, this is the same one who gave me attitude after I said we had been sitting for 20 minutes waiting for someone to even greet our table. I know it's a Friday, which is why we didn't leave, we didn't want to start the process over again somewhere else, she said it's normal to wait 20 minutes for someone to come over. Waited over 10 minutes for a drink. Food came, it was awesome but the server brought the silverware out after we started eating, but in shifts, she brought 3, then 2 more quite some time later, we had to share, took quite a long time to get everyone a napkin. Just a disappointing experience all around. The food was awesome, the service was just awful
My wife and I were looking for a simple and casual meal. Mac's on Hertel fit this well. We were promptly seated and greeted by our server. It has a Sports Bar atmosphere with numerous TVs on the walls. There are two levels and a patio. We started out with a grilled peach flatbread. It had grilled peaches, goat cheese, prosciutto, arugula and was drizzled with honey. We both found this to be very good. I chose the strawberry chicken salad. It looked good but overall I was disappointed with it. The chicken had little flavor other than the charred flavor from where it got black on the grill. The dressing, a strawberry vinaigrette was terrible and had no flavor. I had my wife sample it and she agreed. My wife chose the beef on weck and fries. She said the fries appeared to be fresh cut and the beef was very good. I tried both and liked them as well. Service was good and 2 of the 3 items we ordered were very good. I may give them another try if in the area but will avoid the salad.
Drinks came after the appetizers and they were warm. Not bad for $9 drinks. Also, food was cold. Another non-impressive visit. Server was friendly.

The service was not that good. We advised the waitress that someone in our party had an allergy to tomato's and when that person got their food there was tomato's on her burger and a hair in her French fries. It took a very long time for the waitress to check to see if we needed more drinks or if everything was ok. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Had a great server. Very kind, attentive, drinks were always filled, food came out nice and hot. Had a good time. Appreciated the social distancing they put into effect.
American food and the atmosphere here is quality. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Looking forward to a return visit. The prices are well within reason for the quality. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I liked to visit.
Very nice! Got to sit outside. Servers were friendly. Good food! Nice atmosphere. Pictured here.... Big A** Pretzel - warm and delicious with local Weber's mustard!
Drinks and food were good. Nothing Special. When we arrived I wasn't all that hungry so we wanted to order slowly. Got our drinks, then ordered an app, then ordered entrees. Our entrees ended up coming out while we were still eating our app. My boyfriend ordered a burger medium. Half was well done half was still pretty raw. We sat outside, it was extremely loud with all the motorcycles and trucks going by.
