Chairs are hard and extremely uncomfortable.no cushions whatsoever.. if you have back or hip problems beware. Chicken sandwich was too salty..as was my husband'schicken pot pie. Wont be back.

I can't believe how popular this place is considering how salty their food is. My buttermilk fried chicken sandwich tasted horrible. The chicken was over fried: it was all brown and hard on the outside and dry on the inside. It cut the roof of my mouth because of how hard it was. My other family members each tried a bite and were shocked that I had even managed to eat half of it because of how gross it was. And it was so salty. So gross. Don't come here if you have good taste.

I enjoyed the restaurant and will definitely be back to try more food.
I had the pot roast and it was okay but not fork tender through out.
On an earlier visit I had the steak in the grass and the French onion soup and both were delicious.

This local spot truly deserves more love than it gets, it’s such a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and inviting, like a place you immediately want to settle into and enjoy. The staff was kind and attentive, making us feel cared for the entire time.

The food? Absolutely top tier. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich (tossed!) and it was out of this world crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. My husband got the Rodeo Burger and said it was one of the best he’s had in a long time. We each had drinks to go along with our meals, and they were just as impressive, balancing everything perfectly.

What really stood out was the consistency—delicious food, great drinks, wonderful service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. Whether it’s a date night, dinner with friends, or a casual meal with family, this place truly checks every box.

Came here with my boyfriend and his friend for the fish fry. we were sat right away but waited about 10 mins for our server to come over with waters and put in our drink order. 15 mins later she came back with our drinks and we put our food in. we didn’t see our server again until after we were done with our meals. disappointed with the slow service honestly. food was good though!

First time I visited food was really good. This last time, not so much. My nephew ordered the French onion soup. The soup was overly sweetened, like really sweet. We were not a fan of it. Then he ordered a fish fry with onion ring, both of which were over fried. They should've remade it when the saw how dark these items were, but they served it. The Mac salad was weak to say the least. I will still go back and give them a chance to redeem themselves. Haha. I must say, our server was excellent.

Looking for a new place for dinner in the old neighborhood we decided to give Mike & Pop's a try. Was pleasantly surprised to find beef short rib Bolognese as a special. It was fantastic. The chicken pot pie was a taste of home. Very much enjoyed our visit.

Called them about a month before our event and accommodated 35 of us to host our pool dinner. The staff was great and it was an amazing time. Much appreciated to everyone and would highly recommend them.
