Made a reservation for my 32nd birthday! Went with 4 other women. This was a Monday night 11/3. The atmosphere was cool but we were sat at a table right by the door and we all froze, all night. The waitress, don’t know her name as she didn’t introduce herself, did not come over for 17 minutes after we were seated. She came and asked if we wanted drinks (no pleasantries). We all ordered drinks and our food. Drinks didn’t come out for about 20 minutes. Our food took over an hour for appetizers. Hour and a half for entrees. Our waitress came over exactly once to refill our waters and ask if we wanted any other drinks for that hour and a half wait. I ordered filet mignon- medium. It came our RARE and the sides were cold. The dish had no sauce, and it was supposed to. My sister ordered the same and hers was also rare. We sent them back explaining the issue. Both plates came back and the sides were still cold and the filets still undercooked. At that point we didn’t eat it just brought it home to cook ourselves because we weren’t sending it back a second time. This was all 5 of our first time at this restaurant and none of us plan to return. I would not recommend this place to any friends. The only good part of the entire experience was the appetizers were good (clams, shrimp fritters, artichoke dip) as were the drinks. 2/10 will not return.

Nice place, we had a great waiter. Food was okay. Filet was different but good. Duck was fatty, alot of restaurants do that lately. Ala carte, no salad & was served one stale slice of bread each with cold butter. A one & done for us.
Heard a lot of great things about Mother’s in Buffalo, and the place definitely looks cool inside. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. You have to order your appetizer and entrée at the same time, which felt rushed. They sat us under a leaky air conditioner, and nothing kills the vibe faster than condensation dripping on your head and into your food. The food itself was good, just not as great as it was hyped to be. Service and seating definitely affected the overall experience.

Jason was a fabulous server! He was very courteous and phenomenal and incredibly attentive and friendly. We had such a wonderful night. Food was incredible, the wine pairing was perfect, and the atmosphere was calm and inviting.

We visited from Montana. Went one night and had to return the next. Food was very good and reasonably priced, portions were generous. Tthe ambiance was exceptional-friendly people, good music and a variety of interesting patrons mad the night delightful. the bartenders were were quite practiced and evan us picky/seasoned drinkers enjoyed the delicious cocktails. Overall a wonderful atmosphere with delicious food and exceptional cocktails with a trmemendous atomosphere.

My son likes to go Mothers for his birthday. I ordered the twin tornados medium rare. When the food came out mine was barely warm. I told the waiter and he told me he could take it back and have it warmed up on the grill. It was already cooked medium so I declined. Nothing else was offered. We ordered desert. It was ok. I won’t be back.
