When an issue with one of the pies I ordered was discovered on Thanksgiving morning I messaged Todd and because it was Thanksgiving I expected to wait until the day after for a response. Nope! Todd messaged me within minutes, asked how to make it better and met my husband at the shop 20 minutes later. The pies we ordered look absolutely delicious and, if history proves me correct, they definitely will be great. Good old customer services is alive and well at Not Just Cakes.

I can't recommend this place enough. Everything is always so good and the different flavors keep things interesting. I've driven an hour and a half just to stop in, especially if they have any canollies left. :) And everyone is always welcoming and super helpful!

I ordered cupcakes and custom cookies for my company christmas party, in typical Buffalo fashion we had to reschedule due to a snow storm. They were totally fine with the last minute reschedule and the cupcakes and cookies were AMAZING!!!!

8/6/2024-I really wanted to be able to give this place 5 stars. My fiancé and I arrived for our cake tasting today at 6pm. I had previously discussed this appointment over Instagram with the business about a month prior. Upon arrival we instantly noticed the bakery was closed. We knocked on the door and the man who had answered told us he had no appointment scheduled for us. I reminded him of my name as we spoke on Instagram and I had attempted to reach out twice prior to our appointment and we basically got a “no sorry”. Not once did he try to accommodate or reschedule us. Upon leaving I noticed he then read all of my messages regarding our appointment and never responded. It’s unfortunate because this place was recommended to us and we looked forward to working with them for our wedding.
***8-11/2024- after this he then changed his bio on instagram to say “no dms for orders or inquiries” but still has yet to respond to me.

Ordered cupcakes and a wedding cake. Did not disappoint. Was absolutely amazing and I don’t even like cake. Highly recommend using them for any dessert needs. Todd also was a pleasure to work with. So accommodating and easy to work with. We will be back for sure.
Dietary restrictions: We needs dairy free cupcakes for some guests and people who were not dairy thought they were amazing didn’t even know they were dairy free.
