I've had cupcakes, kringles and cookies and everything is excellent.
First off, I have been ordering cakes from Ohlsons for the past 3-4 years and this was the first time that i had to pay ahead/deposit because it was over $50. I order the same size cake usually and never remember paying this much. But i thought, i know their cakes are good so.......i made the decision to order it. Now i know things are getting expensive but for an 8 in round with a few flowers and preschool cursive writing....$56 is a bit much. I did have a strawberry whip filling, but not what i am used to. If cutting corners is what your goal is, you have succeeded. This filling was seperated, greasy and not the high quailty whip that i am used to. For the first time, i am truly disappointed. I will think twice when ordering another cake from Ohlsens, sadly. Just an example, we also ordered a 10 in cheesecake frosted all had piped flowers, from another bakery, $36. Ohlsens to the left, other to the right. No comparison.

The pastry here are too sweet for my taste, but it doesn’t mean these aren’t good. I ordered cream puff, the cream wasn’t as airy as I expected, it’s more on the custard side, but it did have a generous amount. However, this place offers a large variety of flavors you definitely wouldn’t get from somewhere else nearby. So drop by and check it out.

We always have a high-quality experience and look forward to going to Olson‘s. We have tried many items and everything is baked to perfection and absolutely delicious. We also had a special birthday cake made for our 90 year old mother and it was beautiful and tasty!
I ordered my son's wedding cake over the phone. I asked for slat blue flowers and picked the more expensive flowers. I picked up the cake the morning of the wedding! It was absolutely beautiful with the perfect color flowers!!! It was packaged so nice! Thank you so much for your beautiful work!!!
