At $32 a pound for their least expensive beans (there was nothing available here that was less than $24 for 12 ounces/$32 per pound) I would expect them to be fresh. Peak flavor dies within two weeks. The flavor I wanted was over two weeks old on the shelf. It had full flavor for the first day it was opened and then it died off. Disappointing when you splurge and pay premium prices expecting a premium product.
The coffee is top tier, and so are the delicious house-made syrups. Although, consistency at this new location is lacking so far (sometimes the espresso is good, other times it tastes watery). I would also love to see more alternative milk options, like soy or almond.

My main gripe is that there is no accessible entrance. Hope to see that changed soon.
I ordered a brown sugar cardomom latte. The total came to $6, it tasted amazing and was beautifully presented. However, the service here wasn’t very friendly. The lady was quite cold and not very welcoming or helpful, something I’m not used to seeing in small cafes. However, there was another worker, she was tall and blonde and was very kind.
