The food was good and not over seasoned. The mac and cheese was good, but I could taste water, which maybe they sprinkled water on it to heat it up in the microwave. I did see them put some mac and cheese in an unmicrowavable plastic container and heat it up in the microwave. I also saw the cook touch a dirty microwave plug, plug it in a different outlet, and then touch peoples cornbread without washing his hands.
I can't say enough about how fantastic my experience was at this rather unsuspecting-looking bar and grill. More of the former than the latter, the back of the establishment features a smattering of cozy tables away from the bar where you can start by enjoying signature house wings (typical WNY style with a variety of flavor choices or southern style - which are breaded and then fried) and one of the largest alcoholic beverages I have ever seen in my life. So I traveled to New York almost 2 years ago with a good friend and of course seeing the Statue of Liberty was one of the stops. Going here was a very humbling feeling. I couldn't believe I was actually seeing her up close and in person. What a feeling!
