Was not a delightful experience we expected on Christmas. First off, the menu was extremely limited. I called in advance to confirm they had gluten free pasta, was told, yes in addition they said they had gluten free bread, well, they had neither. I ordered the filet mignon, it was good until I found blue tape in my potatoes. They were nice enough to comp my meal. One of our other guests order the duck, which was extremely over cooked, but they did comp that dish as well. The service was not great, my gluten free Ceasar salad ordered without croutons was delivered with them. We will never go back.

It's Christmas Eve, and the bar staff, Carmen, Tayfun, and Rangga are rocking this place. It's not the most busiest time of year (yet the place is busy with families) for the business traveller but these folks are making sure my stay is fun. Thank you! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Panorama on Seven offers breathtaking 360° city views, elegant ambiance, and exquisite cuisine—seared scallops, perfectly cooked steak with fries and carrots, plus candy cheesecake and chocolate pistachio dome for dessert were divine. Service excelled with Natalie’s warm, expert care. A true gem!

Pros: Great downtown location, free valet parking, upscale decor, friendly staff, reasonable prices, impressive whisky selection. Cons: Slow service. Kitchen was out of my first choice dish, coq au vin. I normally wouldn’t complain about this, but I ordered at like 6:45 pm. Strange that they’d be out of a make-ahead entree at the very beginning of the dinner rush. I assume it just wasn’t prepared that day. My next choice, the bone-in pork chop was presented beautifully, but was startlingly bland and under-seasoned, as though the chop was just put on the grill with no salt, pepper, anything. It came with mashed potatoes, which were gluey. The asparagus was good. All things considered, not a bad experience. But a little disappointing because the food easily could’ve been better.

The location is unmatched for Buffalo. Panorama is in the lobby of a Marriott on the seventh floor, so they cater to business clientele but also make time for the locals. Prices are higher than your standard dive, but aren’t unreasonable for what you’re getting. The bar is classy, well-provisioned, and staffed by the two best mixologists in Buffalo. Kate and Tayfun (among Carmen and others) go above and beyond to provide excellent service, but they’re also personable and chatty if you strike up a conversation. The kitchen works quickly and is attentive. The menu, while limited, has some high-end options and everything is handmade. I highly recommend getting a plate of Focaccia.

Met for drinks before a Sabres game - enjoyed the experience so much that we returned post-game for another round of drinks. We ordered some fantastic cocktails, expertly made by Tayfun and Kate, who were attentive and helpful throughout, without being obtrusive.
