You knew this review would be coming. Sorry. Your food has always been great but the service tonight was appalling.
Drove from Rochester to Buffalo to get Indian food and head to a hockey game. 45 minutes before arriving, I place an online takeout order to time it perfectly with our arrival.
Getting to Paavari- my husband goes to the door to pickup our order, and it’s locked. There’s people inside shooing him away, giving him the cold shoulder. So he comes back to the car confused.
I go to the door and deal with the shooing and the “WE’RE NOT OPEN!!” from the peanut gallery doing nothing to help the situation. Lo and behold, in the very bottom corner in the dark (with zero lighting) is a sign that says “Staff Holiday Party” - really?
Then why did my order go through and y’all charged my card?
Finally, the owner (who I’d recognized from our other visits) comes to the door and says, “Oh I cancelled your order. Sorry we’re not open.”
I’m visibly frustrated at this point in this situation, Paavari should have reached out to me and let us know they’d cancelled our order. There were zero texts, emails, or notification that we had placed our order nor that it was cancelled. The screen on my side still read the order was ready and good for pickup, asking me to rate my order… Just an outright FAIL on Paavari’s side.
But again, all that needed to be done was someone needed to be proactive. Your staff waving us away, shooing at us and being disrespectful, unhelpful, and downright moronic was one thing. Why not open the door and help rectify? Nothing but young punk kids.
What made it 1000% worse was the owner simply shrugging it off in my face saying “well we forgot to turn off our ordering system I’m sorry”… it was another low blow that did nothing to help anyone. If you made a mistake; you should have either contacted me prior or made the order and shut down your systems after. Why was I the one being penalized?
It’s evident you were cooking for the staff - so, you either should have made the meal and be done with it or contacted me… How did you ever expect me to know my order was cancelled?
So thank you for ruining our evening.
We did not want to eat cheap crappy American food at the hockey game and drove 2 hours round trip to enjoy your business, which we had done on numerous occasions.
But your reaction and lack of accountability to fix the situation ruined our entire evening to the point we skipped the hockey game, cancelled our entire plans and went home. Your staff being nothing but incompetent really took the cake.
We won’t be coming back ever again. That was downright embarrassing.
(By the way - it’s been 1.5 hours since this debacle and guess what?! Their takeout systems are still available to order online. SMH… this is why our generation is lacking common sense.)

You eat the food and you immediately feel thankful as the first bite proves that you’re in for an experience of passion. The end.

Okay , this is the cleanest and trendiest indian food restaurant that i've experienced in all of western new york. The food is a 10/10. The dance music. The late hours. Someone took Indian food around here to the next level... And managed to keep prices the same. Incredible! Will be back.

This may be the best Indian meal I've had outside of India. The chef is outstanding, the host solicitous, and the waiter attentive, charming, and funny. We ate al fresco on the patio and enjoyed pillowy (and BIG) garlic naan, a fun Indian-fusion appetizer (perfectly grilled wings with an addictive mango sauce and diced red onions), and two more traditional dishes (chicken tikka masala curry and a shrimp kashmiri curry). We found ourselves wanting to lap up the sauces after we couldn't eat another bite, so every drop went into the to-go containers with our leftovers. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Have you ever been to a place where you walk in and feel at home? Well, this is it, the staff and management really do care about not only serving you amazing food but moreover want the experience to be great too. I really fell in love with their pizzas, too. Who would think a city full of places that have great pizza but this place it right up on the top with them all.
❤️ -> omg, so so good! I'll be back. 😀

Parivaar, a super awesome Indian cuisine spot in buffalo. I came with my mom while on a visit to D’Youville and we have never been to downtown buffalo before, so we were honestly searching for GOOD food winging it. I saw this place on google and was saw it was ethnic and the pictures and ratings all looked good.
It was nothing short of the all the great reviews and ratings! We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Biryani Rice with chicken. Aswell as the Garlic Naan bread. These serving sizes per dish were more than enough, the flavor profiles on both were amazing, the spice level was to out order and my moms, V SPICY, mine, medium, because I like to enjoy my food. The server and service was great, polite, timely. We enjoyed the whole experience! 10/10 recommend if you are in the area and enjoy Indian cuisine!

Food was nice, but the service was delayed. We were told 20-30 minutes but it took double the time close to an hour!
