What a great experience. We saw the Matt Michaud Trio do a tribute to Miles Davis. Absolutely amazing. But also Pausa is amazing. The food, the drinks, the service- all excellent.

Loved being able to order on the QR code. It was nice to be able to order during the performance and leave after without having to settle a check. The staff and customers were all very friendly. The place had a warm atmosphere and the acoustics were great. Tapenade & Goat Cheese and the Panini were great!

All the avid jazz lover could possibly ask for is waiting at Pausa Art House. This a real jazz space tastefully converted from a traditional Allentown shotgun house, the kind I grew up in living in New Orleans and where today you can still happen unexpectedly upon a great jazz or blues club. The owner takes pride in everything going perfectly from food and beverage service to excellent musicians which is what any jazz lover is all about. My husband loved the non-alcoholic beer offering and I relished the ginger beer from Ithaca, NY. The carmen panini was excellent and the chocolate mousse cake with whipped cream and bada bing cherries was delicious. Can't wait to return to this Buffalo gem!

One of the most beautiful places to enjoy all genres of music and enjoy light finger foods.

We will be coming back again. Such a cool vibe and experience. The owner, Lazara, was so kind and you could tell she loves what she does.

The Jazz music featured at Pausa makes it a most worthy and ultra hip venue to hear and see great performances. Combine that with food, libations, and service, Pausa is a world class treat right here in cozy Buffalo.

I really enjoy this intimate venue. The owner takes an active role for shows which I appreciate. It’s all about the music here. Ordering drinks and food is super easy. Scan the QR code, pay and submit your order. The owner delivers your drinks while the bar tender makes the sandwiches and delivers to your table.
Since it’s the owner and one other employee, food orders take a little longer. So sit, slow down, sip on a cocktail, and enjoy the music.

Community gem! Saw a lovely musical performance here. Arrived early to get a spot in the back room and used the QR code to order a tasty cocktail. Talking is discouraged during performances which allows you to really absorb the art

Way over priced. Also, the stage set up/placement wasn’t planned well. The owner is very rude & doesn’t seem to respond well to honest reviews. You can’t order a drink at the bar without using the QR code? There were only a handful of people at the bar. It took me 5 times to get it to work on my phone, only to pay $14 for one poorly made drink? $38.00 for a sandwich & a drink. NEVER again! Also forced to pay a 20% tip if sitting at the bar, which had super slow service & you can only use your card. The forced tip should be illegal. Not to mention, the owner better not be dipping into those tips!!

Unique experience for Buffalo. Chill music vibes. It is meant as a listening experience and that is apparent. Great time for a lowkey date. Sitting at the bar, the volume is just right to experience (not blaring). Would be nice to have a larger menu that isn't quite so expensive, but I also understand that that's kind of how more artsy bar scenes go now. Overall great relaxing time! Met the owner, she is very friendly.
