The food was out of this world along with the atmosphere. My only complaint is the staff was a bit slow with the food but was in a bit of a rush to get people out. Outside of that, it was a good experience.

Almost all of Pho Lantern’s offerings are great. Their Pad Thai is really as authentic as it gets in Buffalo, and brings me back to the times where more legit Thai places existed in the area. Unlike most, their Pad Thai doesn’t have that super strong artificial sweet taste. You really can’t go wrong with the noodle dishes, and the papaya salad is really good as well.

I’m not a fan of the pho, and is one of the only things I don’t order from here. Broth is less flavorful than others in area and noodles are thin.

Bahn Mi though is pretty good and would definitely get it again. Comes with pate 👀👀

My go-to drink is the lime soda, but would love to see them add sugar cane juice to the menu.

My fiance and I ate here on Thursday for the first time. We hadn't eaten yet and were starving after my 20-week anatomy scan at my OB and decided to come here because I wanted Pho. I ate only a few bites because the flavor seemed off to me but my fiance ate almost his entire meal but had said the water had a bleach taste to it and although i couldnt taste exactly that it did taste chemically to me also. We both got very sick! I left there with bad stomach pain and ended up vomiting bedside after I got home. Twenty minutes later, he started vomiting so violently that he ended up in the emergency room with a discharge of food poisoning. He did not stop vomiting until the next evening as well. Because i only had a few bites i was not severe and did not need emergency care after consulting with my OB although i was perscribed medicine.

Needless to say, we will NEVER be going back here again. This was the only food we ate that day. Food poisoning is not a joke and put us in so much danger. Diners beware, please be cautious of this place if it happened to us it could happen to you.

You walk in and can already smell the soup in a home y way. My shrimp pho had a LOT of shrimp and it was delicious. The spring rolls were delicious as well as big but I’d probably get 2 next time because I enjoyed it so much. The dumplings were awesome and a nice size. Service was warm and attentive

The waiting room is so cute. Pho is big and tasty. They also have daily discounts, we had half price fried dumplings and it was good. Only downside is that they don't have tripes as an option.

I tried to find a place to eat dinner while staying in a hotel in downtown Buffalo. It was evening and I had to park by the roadside but the rare beef pho in Lantern was gorgeous and Large was truly large. The service was pretty good and the reception was particularly warm and sweet.

All the food wasn't that great besides the pho. Don't order anything else and you'll be happy.
