By far the best place to get food on campus, if you love pasta and paninis go here. It's a good option for choosing between healthy or unhealthy food depending on what you create. Ordering is only done through the mobile GET app no other way to get food. Ordering here can be hard, must order during 15 minute interval times. For example if it's 1:26pm the next time they start a new ordering interval is 1:30pm then 1:45pm. People love this place so plan ahead. Paninis are good too for more of the unhealthy options.

Gotta give it to Pistachio’s for being one, if not, the best place to eat on campus. The pasta there is amazing, especially compared to the pastas in the dining halls. Go for their Alfredo sauce. Thing is that you gotta make sure you place your order fast before everyone else does or else you’re gonna be waiting for a while. They got good pasta after all. Problem is that, again, like almost all other CDS places, the quantity is terrible. You do not get enough for what you’re paying for.
Ordered here during my sophomore year. Pasta is pretty decent, but the serving sizes were inconsistent. It terms of access, it was inconvenient having to always place your orders in advance.

Pistachios used to be SOOoo much more better before covid. (I’ve been a customer since 2014).You can only order online through the UB app and this way of ordering is trash! I tried to place an order the whole last month and I was finally able to have the order go through today. The pasta was mid compared to how it used to be. The portions used to be bigger- I only got 2 little cubes of chicken and two very tiny broccoli pieces in my pasta order. You used to be able to tell the employees what veggies you wanted in your pasta order while they made it in front of you. You’re limited to like one veggie now online. And because there’s an order limit, the atmosphere in the restaurant is dead to be honest. It used to be lively and everyone used to be so excited to stand in line and place their orders.Bring back in store ordering please!! This mobile ordering process is ridiculous! I used to brag to people about how good this place was, very disappointing now.

The place serves Build your own pasta and they have plenty of options for everything. The service is really good ?The place is always clean because of hard working employees who are very friendly and helpful. The management is always around to listen to a customer's queries and feedback. Please order the pastas separately if ordering multiple pasta. Use the GET app to order food at Pistachios.

Very long lines and understaffed. The owner obviously doesn't care enough about the customers to properly staff. This is pasta, not rocket science. You simply need to care enough your customers time and appreciate their business enough to properly staff! 20-25 minutes in line is not acceptable when your pasta is precooked.

Its okay, if you have a meal plan for UB definitely worth a try, and if your on campus and want some really cheep customizable Italian it might be worth it. With that being said I dont even know if you can go here without a meal plan because all of the ordering is online now.In conclusion, its okay.
Very poor customer service and total lack of appreciation for customers. I went to place an order in person and pay cash, and like so many restaurants that do not make things easy for their customers, you now are told that they only take online orders. I spent 20-25 minutes downloading and registering on their stupid app and attempting to place an order just to get an app response stating that they are too busy and not taking anymore orders!?!? Well why the hell did you tell me to order through the app in the first place if you are too busy to boil pasta and charge $10 for something that costs .99 cents. Restaurants who severely understaff so the gluttonous owner can drive a brand new mercedes is not a good restaurant, exploits their employees and customers, and is not worth my business.
