Maybe it’s me but this just isn’t the spot. $8 for a large coffee and every time I’ve ordered it’s inconsistent, and most likely not what I asked for. The male staff at the front seem very disinterested, this last order less than 3 words were exchanged and I had to remind them of the croissant. Their downtown location is phenomenal but I’ve been consistently disappointed by the Elmwood spot :(

My first visit. Only had coffee. Drip-no cream or sugar. It was good with limited flavor well brewed not burnt no bitter finish. Reasonably priced. I would get it again.

So glad to have this coffee shop in the neighborhood! Friendly staff, Buffalo’s best Apple Cider Doughnut, and solidly made coffees. Great place for social and business meetings, too.

The oat milk latte was so watery and not good at all! I'm not sure how the lattes with regular milk are, but I would not recommend their oat milk latte at all. Food was good that's more of a four star rating, the latte a one star rating.

Everybody in Buffalo has their own favorite coffee shop, but this one is mine. The coffee is of excellent quality, the drinks are flavorful without being excessively syrupy, and the food is always excellent. I'm particularly fond of the red-eye breakfast sandwich, which has espresso-deglazed ham and this delightfully sweet and spicy horseradish mustard. Their donuts are second only to Paula's, especially the crullers.
The atmosphere inside at the Elmwood location is also incredibly cozy: lots of nice comfy armchairs and pillows along the bench seating. It's also quite bright thanks to the bay windows, which makes it a lovely place to sit a while and read.
Overall, my favorite coffee spot in Buffalo (of which there are many great options to choose from) and a great experience every time I go.

A great place for a morning coffee and bagel. If I want hot black tea, I bring my own tea bag. They have only herbal or iced tea.

Everything is always delicious and the staff are friendly. A good place to bring a client for coffee, work on your laptop, or grab lunch with your friends. The prices are a bit high, but the quality of ingredients certainly makes up for it. I buy my coffee beans from here as well and the result is delicious.
Started coming here because it’s closest coffee shop to my house. I really enjoy sitting in there with my coffee & donut or bagel.
