Legitimately one of the worst shots I’ve ever seen pulled and tasted in my life. I’ve pulled shots on Slayers and I was interested in stopping by while visiting Buffalo from Rochester. The pre infusion sequence was roughly 10-12 seconds. Nothing crazy. But as soon as the barista moved the paddle into the third position it dumped water into the shot glass. This was more than just an issue with channelling. This wasn’t even a shot of espresso anymore. I watched as the barista went to pull a second shot on the middle group head and I figured it was a one off with the first shot on the third group head. The second shot was the same. As soon as full bar was hit, it just dumped water. Kinda disappointing to drive an hour for some of the worst espresso I’ve had/seen. Donut was awesome.

Overall the cafe is below average and food was average. For this quality of food they are overpriced. I’d prefer Taco bell over this below average and over priced cafe!

They served me spoiled food and now i have food poisoning because of it. The guy said he would refund me the money, but never gave me a refund. Just never eat the food if you
ever feel the food is tasking little but funny. They suck!

Waited 15 minutes for my latte and 40 minutes for bagel and Caesar salad. When food came out I wasn’t given any utensils nor napkins. Guys behind counter seemed not to care and I noticed that people who ordered after me got their food before me. This was my first and will be my last experience! It was bad enough I needed to ride around for 15 minutes to find parking. $42 for 2 lattes a chicken Caesar salad and lox on bagel was not worth the money. It’s a predominantly white clientele. So all the five stars may very well not be from people of color like myself. Customer service refresher classes for staff is a must here.

is it that hard to cut a bagel in half? every time i order the same sandwich. it’s different. this location needs a serious staffing overhaul.

Highly recommend, they know how to make the best coffee and all pastries are always so fresh and delicious. I dream of the French toast crueller regularly 🫠

I've only been to this location to visit for my graduate program, but I loved the atmosphere there, especially for a weekday brunch. I enjoyed the razzle dazzle of the bagel with lox and their iced mocha was pretty great. Will have to try one of their donuts some time!

Staff super friendly - esp the barista. He was exceptional. And the music added to a cool vibe and easy place to get some work done
Apparently one of the most popular local coffee chains of Buffalo, they have branches across different parts of Buffalo aside from Tim Hortons. The ambiance was below average in my opinion. The sofas were kinda dirty though it had covers.
Still there were plenty of people. But we didn't like it as much hence we went to Haraz (Yemeni Coffee Shop) from there.
