Had a tasty time at Queen City Meadery! We had two flights and a charcuterie board. We got to choose between three cheeses (quite the portion of cheese!). The simplicity was my favorite. Very honey and sweet. We will be back for some more flights soon!Edited to add that their menu online is NOT up-to-date and they no longer have the two flights with cheese at a discounted rate. Call the restaurant for an updated menu.

Another one of the newer meaderies in WNY. Though I have yet to find a favorite, these are quality meads. I previously tried the Red Potion and something else at Merry Shelley. The red potion has strawberry, and it's the real fruit flavor, so it's more herbaceous than sugary sweet. Same for the Blue Potion I tried today (as a session, which is more like a honey beer than a honey wine), but it has blueberry and blackberry instead. I prefer mine on the sweeter (but not artificial) side. Definitely a matter of personal taste and not quality. I also tried the Screaming Wench as a session. It has raspberry and cranberry. More tart than sweet, so again, it's a matter of preference. The two stills I tried were Simplicity and Blueberry Fields. If the blueberry meads from other regional meaderies are two sweet for you, Blueberry Fields is a good alternative. I don't think Sweetness was on tap, so I'll need to try that one of these days.Service is excellent.

Such a wonderful spot, cannot recommend enough! Very friendly waitress, free popcorn, relaxed vibes and EXCELLENT mead. So many different flavor profiles that really come out in the drinks. I have never had mead before, but I definitely want to come back and drink more. A great alternative evening out to a brewery!

Had 2 flights and I only had one problem... I can't have a favorite if everything is amazing. All the meads we're too good. Couldn't choose a favorite. But I did leave with a bottle of Even Stevens.

Great place to try a great variety of meads! one if the owner was there and gave us a lot of info about the place and how it was made. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing! I've been bringing people here for a year now. Every mead is unique, with there being almost 20, and the $10 flights are perfect! Ambience is great for a date or for friends to hang out and unwind. Only difficulty is the hours they're open, would be nice to check it out Wednesday and Sunday too!

Amazing service and I love the local Mead. I love the fact that you can bring your own food we usually bring subs or Wegmans sushi or cheese platters. Great variety of mead and new mead is out every month it seems.

Tried this place out on a whim. Purchased two tasting flights from Groupon. We were the only people in the place on a Thursday evening, but don't let that deter you. The bartender, Ken, was amazing! He shared with us his passion behind the meadery sharing facts behind the business. Such as the business is a hobby for him and his partners and he happily went into detail about each mead available. There was 16 meads available to try and a flight consisted of 4 meads. He was extremely hospitable in allowing us to have one extra tasting of another mead with no extra cost. My boyfriend and I ended up purchasing 3 bottles. Blue potion, Admiral, and Amy. Groupon came with a 10% discount for bottle purchases per tasting. This is a fantastic business and wonderful location that should be visited if looking for a new local establishment. I will definitely be returning!
