it was neither the best sushi nor the best service for the price. there are lots of better qualities even in Buffalo downtown.our simple sushi came after a 40 minute wait.on a positive note they serve real wasabi (not the paste) which is rare!

Shame on you for staying in business for so long. Charging $17 upwards for 4 thinnest slices of pork that are dried out with ramen noodle (not made fresh) all clumped together? The broth was lukewarm, which is not how REAL ramen is supposed to be. Not an expensive environment charging expensive prices. I’d rather go to any of the local ethnic businesses than coming back here.

Ramen, sushi, and tea... yes, please! First approaching, you see a tiny store front with a bar, but don't let it fool you. There is further seating in the back. Forewarning if sitting in the bar area during the winter time prepare to be hit with a cold breeze. I would suggest making a reservation to ensure getting a table. We both had their ramen with a spice bomb, split sushi (contained kimchi), and each had tea. Loved the individual kettles, and the dishes were scrumptious. I will definitely be back. Oh, fyi you can purchase chopsticks here for home. They are nice quality.

Food and atmosphere are so great here. Staff is inviting. I have gone here for a date night and with my kids and family and its great for both. The food is so delicious. Love ramen or a sushi dinner there. Try to sweet potato tempura roll and the Hokkaido roll! Both are unique and delicious!
I wish they had lunch hours. The food is amazing. The tofu don bowl is my favorite.

Food was good but I've definitely had better Ramen. They ran out of kimchi, along with some other items on the menu which was disappointing. Quite a few beers were unavailable as well. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. My daughter said it was amazing and she's a good judge so I'll try it again! Server was great!

My friend and I went on a sushi date and enjoyed ourselves a lot. We started with kimchi and the cucumber salad, but sadly we didn’t have a liking for the kimchi which was just a personal preference, but the cucumber salad was very good. Then we had the chefs choice 5 piece sashimi which was incredible. I totally recommend the elmwood roll with raw salmon, raw tuna, and tobiko eggs on top! To finish it off we had the Japanese Oreo jiggly cheesecake which was also very amazing. Will definitely be going back to try the ramen.
Third time in a row that I’ve been turned away for seating, due to unposted seating hours? Not online, in restaurant, etc. Also, host had to ask Manager/kitchen whether ordering takeout, an hour before close, was acceptable? Granted, restaurant seemed full…but it’s Friday night at 9pm. Get it together guys….

Love coming here with friends!! Everything is good, I love the sushi here but not a fan of the tofu for the ramen. Ume Fizz and sake flights are tasty drinks to try.
This place can have long waits to get a table sometimes, so you might want a reservation. With good reason too. The food is delicious and there is a great variety of sake I can't find at any other restaurant or at a liquor store. I thought the ramen was slightly al dente, but otherwise perfect. I got a bite of my friend's okonomiyaki, which was also delicious, might have that when we come back. Our server treated us well and made sure our sake glasses were full.

OMG! It has been a long time since I raved about having a dinner out. I heard Sato was a good place for ramen. Not only was it good, it was fantastic and memorable. I still talk about it. Must try kimchi and okonomyaki.!!!

Went here with my sisters and dad to celebrate my sister turning 21! Overall, the vegetarian/vegan items we ordered were delicious. The mule that my sisters had, they enjoyed greatly. It’s a nice cute place. Would definitely go back!
