I drive from Toronto to Buffalo pretty often and one thing that I miss is Halal shawarma wraps. You can get a good combo for a reasonable price. Your halal options are very limited in Amherst.

We have moved shawarma city to 540 Niagara falls blvd! Right across the street, we have opened here and have multiple new food options! And a grocery store

Food is not worth the price at all, the old shawarma city was much better, the restaurant with the new owner is not good, I spent $60 for food that is not even worth $30 . I would never try it again

So bummed that Shawarma City, one of my favorite places, has closed. This place just does the tired old fried junk. Shawarma City had fresh chicken, beef and lamb with rice and salads, fresh hummus, baklava -- all kinds of awesome things. This new place is fried chicken, burgers and subs. Sad. So sad.

Very tasty chicken! I love the charred bits. Way better than Halal Guys and I'm from NYC when this was the hottest thing, especially after the club! They only give a combo though so you have to take a drink with it. Restaurant customer areas (bathroom 🤮) could really use a deep clean and please replace malfunctioning blinking lights.
Had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The chicken over rice was full of flavor and very well prepared. The menu features a wide variety of dishes, all offered at excellent prices. Planning to return soon with friends to enjoy more of what this place has to offer.
