Sidelines Sports Bar and Grill

My wife and I visited the Sidelines Sports Bar and Grill for a few drinks and dinner. We split the Bronx Bomber meatball sandwich which was great and the fries - which were very good IMO. Had a few Black Manhattens….

Your website clearly says you’re open on July 4th. Look at the website and see the top portion (photo attached)

“4th Of July - We're open on the 4th so come celebrate with us!”

Went down and a sign on the door says they are closed on July 4th and 5th (photo attached).

Update the websites with correct info or don’t state that you’re open when you’re not.

Nice sports bar in downtown Buffalo. Beef on weck & buffalo wings is a great combo for sharing!

Would love to come back during the NFL season. Fun sports vibe with delicious food and drinks. Our server was attentive and friendly and so so real!

Had the buffalo chicken wings, was tasty and the service was great and attentive

Had the Mac n cheese with pulled pork here and it was amazing, atmosphere was great and so was the service.

Take out order take too long. Sometimes 45 minutes for a simple order.

Used to love going to the Depew Location. Love the food and atmosphere. My boyfriend and I went today 12/14/24 to watch the Sabres vs Capitals game at 7pm. I was wearing my Washington Jersey. When I politely ordered a drink at the bar, the older male bartender took care of me. I asked him “you guys are showing the Sabres game tonight right?” He rolled his eyes at me and was extremely rude and said “what a stupid question to ask” I immediately apologized and said “I’m sorry I wasn’t sure because I saw different games on now, and did not see the pregame on” He said “we don’t do pregames here” Meanwhile the Toronto Maple Leafs pregame show was on 5 minutes before the Sabres game started. Right when I sat down back at my table, somehow the Sabres pregame was on all the TVs. I come to watch Bills games at Sidelines all the time because it is less than a mile from my house. We came here after my mother’s funeral next door. I have never had an issue at the Depew location until today. I’m very disappointed how I was belittled and humiliated for simply asking a question. Absolutely terrible customer service. Just because I was wearing a different teams jersey, should not affect the level of service I receive. I was not obnoxious, didn’t yell or cheer. Just simply went to a local bar to watch a hockey game.

First trip to Buffalo and Uber driver recommended Sidelines so we could watch Ravens. Could not have been a more enjoyable experience. Genuinely nice folks. Beer and food perfect. Ended up staying for most of the Bills 4:00 game. Wonderful!

went on a Saturday afternoon for something to eat and couple of drinks. wanted to sit outside so went to the bar to ask for a server everyone was busy and couldn't get anyone's attention for a long while then it was a long time getting someone to the table for service . we got our drinks and the server said she was leaving and the next shift would help us! we said cant she just put in our short order of a beef on weck and onion rings! she did now that took awhile by then we needed another drink when our new server finally came over and asked do we need anything we said yes our food another drink a to go container and the check! being in between shifts my 2 drinks tasted different alcohol difference and one was garnished and one wasnt. the roast beef said piled high only had 3 pieces of beef and a hard crusty roll. the onion rings were with the sandwich thought was going to be a full order but that was better for my daughter. hope i near go during shift changes anywhere again

Sidelines Sports Bar and Grill in Buffalo serves up a fish fry so good, I had to go back the next day! The beer-battered haddock was perfectly crispy and flaky, served with all the classic sides. Fresh ingredients and generous portions make this a must-try. Casual atmosphere and plenty of TVs make it a great spot to catch a game and enjoy a delicious meal.
