I’m so glad I stumbled upon Duende during a quick trip to Buffalo. Tucked away in an industrial stretch where you’d never expect to find such a lively bar scene, it turned out to be a real gem. Gabriel, the bartender, was incredibly warm and attentive, and the mix of locals and live musicians gave the place a cozy, lived‑in charm. The food was genuinely good, too. A wonderful surprise all around.
I was in Buffalo for just a few days, but after talking to the locals - they highly recommended checking out Duende… and I’m so happy they did! The aesthetic is beautiful, patrons all so friendly (as was everyone I met in Buffalo), and I had the privilege of having Duende’s very first order to buffalo wings the day they introduced their fried foods menu! Everything from the drinks, food, atmosphere, and people were amazing. If you’re ever in the area, you gotta visit this...
This place is awesome! I enjoyed a few craft beers with live music and the setting sun casting its glow on the surrounding grain silos. Duende was one of my favorite stops during my four-day trip to Buffalo.
