We had breakfast/lunch today at Sophia’s. What a great place.!! It was our first time there so we were not familiar with their wait system at the bar and jumped the line, lol. We ate at the bar because they were so busy, the bartender, a young woman was super efficient and super nice. The service was excellent. The food was so good, we will be going back. I’m sure.

My boyfriend & I were visiting from out of town and decided to try Sophia’s for breakfast. We had the I Love Buffalo omelette, the Greek #2 omelette with gyro souvlaki, & were given a pancake on the house! Everything was unique & delicious. The Greek omelette was one of the best things we ate on our 7 day trip in NY. Service was lovely, atmosphere was nice. Sophia’s is a must try!

Fantastic breakfast! Worth the wait. Very friendly and considerate staff all around. One minor detail that was a bit off was the Men’s room floor. Needs a deep cleaning. ☮️

The food was below average. The service was appalling. The place looked clean and well lit. The open kitchen is a bold move and appreciated. Sophia's is extremely over-hyped, and it was a crashing disappointment. Buffalo is known for its food, and this place is an embarrassment to the city limits. Their famous bloody mary was poisonously spicy, nothing special, and the bacon was pointless. The food was under seasoned and underwhelming. The waitress was inattentive and didn't pay attention when she was there. When I paid with a card and wrote zero for a tip, the waitrously boldly and presumptuously told me that it was ok and as I can "leave a tip in cash." My party intended to leave a tip before the exchange despite my protest. The waitress saying that just made my protest ever more validated. Absolutely pathetic and embarrassing to have such poor unapologetic service. Zero stars, and I've never said that in a review before. Congratulations, Sophia's Restaurant.

Wonderful place to eat. Reasonable prices, great portions, warm and friendly and the staff is the best around. Get there within 30min. of opening or you will have a wait...tho it's worth the wait.
Parking: There is a small one small lot and a larger lot on each side of the restaurant, as well as street parking

Im from Cincinnati. My husband, 1 year old son and I came here for brunch and let me tell you!!! The staff are so welcoming and friendly! They talked to my son almost the entire time making him smile and laugh! At the end one of the waiters who actually wasnt our waiter brought my son some whip cream as dessert! He loved it! The food was good and the Apple Cider Mimosa was top notch! We loved our visit!
