Rude and disrespectful worker I came in to buy a pack of Marlboro and fill my car up with gas after working all day the women at the counter was so rude and disrespectful she was basically trying to get me to start something with her this is the only speedway I’ve had a problem like this in I have a speedway near my house that actually has respect for its customers never coming back here.
I lost a patient today, and it never gets easier, so on my way home from work, I stopped at speedway to grab some snacks because I just finished a 36 hour shift (28 if you remove the 8 hours for sleeping) a young woman was working this morning (2:00 AM), who is one of the rudest, most apathetic, and cynical individuals I’ve ever met. I just got home, and I’m upset, to be honest. I walked in and said hello, and she didn’t glance up from her phone. But that’s nothing, I understand. It’s what happened at checkout. I presented my items and said, “Oh no, I’m sorry, I forgot something. Can I get it? She rolls her eyes, dramatically puts her elbows on the table, lets out a large sigh, and I got my items (3 hot dogs for me and my roommate). When I came back, she had already started scanning my items. I told her I needed to put the ramen noodles back, and she got AGGRESSIVE. “So you’re saying you don’t want these? So now I have to start all over?” And I apologized, and told her I’ll put it back so she doesn’t have to, and she said, “I’m not putting that back. You can”. I watched the screen, and she didn’t “start over”; she just removed the items. The most offensive thing, though? I told her I had three hot dogs and showed them to her, and then I put them in the bag. She said, “Wait right here,” as if it were a command. She then, in the most obnoxious ways possible, counted every single hotdog and then came back and said “yep looks like there’s only three hotdogs. I told her “… did you just check to see if I stole from you?” And she looked me up and down twice, smirked, and then said “just confirming you she what you say you have. Why should that worry you?”. I was done. I saw death today, I lost a soul at work, and I just wanted to come home in peace. Oh; and when the donation slide to St Jude (who I am affiliated with) came up, she attempted to hit skip and said “I always just skip it for everyone) [it’s one of the biggest cancer foundations for children in the nation] for me and I told her that I would like to donate. I did. She then sarcastically said “wow!”, in the most obnoxious way possible. I looked her in the eye, filled my own bag because I supposed she didn’t feel like it, and ripped my bag and receipt from the counter and told her “I REALLY appreciate the respect. If you believe I took anything else, please review your security footage. A major part of your job is just to be kind and helpful, not rude and condescending”. And she didn’t even respond; she went right to her phone. I’m not coming here after my shifts at Millard ever again. The worst treatment I’ve ever received from any employee of any store in my life.
Young girl working tonight, chewing on her nails, on FaceTime with a serious conversation as she rang me out. At least she said hi, but no eye contact. Honestly , she seemed under influence of something.
Overnight lady is an absolute nightmare. Horrible customer service.
Pumps are always broken or not working properly, employees are rude and treat customers as though they are a bother. This is probably one of the worst locations in the area.
I stop here for gas. I never have any issues in the store. Is good if you need to run in and grab something fast for snacks or drinks.
Rude and offensive service by Rashi. I was just there to pick up and confirming my items , meanwhile she says I know what the order is. This kind of service is not what we expect as a person. You’re losing another customer. Speedway 👎
I forgot to mention that, I’ve never seen an employee in any restaurant or store give me only 1 cup holder when there are atleast 2 drinks. That’s a basic level understanding, that you need 2 cup holders stacked when you have atleast 2 large drinks and I had 2 large drinks and 1 small and the cup holder was torn when I keeping them in the car itself. Shameful from you guys.
Went once clean very stocked
Very helpful staff. I was having trouble with my card and they fixed me right up.
The receipt machine does not work and they do not take upside

Whoever the short lady is that's working overnights with the green eyes is rude. She gave me the wrong cigarettes when I come back in to tell her she says I'm wrong and those are the right ones and that it's my fault. I come here often and only have a problem with here. I cant even get a hello from her when I come in. 2/28/2025 5am
Ethanol Free at 90 octane is on pumps 1&2 only. When I was there I had to pay inside because the reader was Broken. The pump handle support was also broken.
The pumps make it impossible to pay with cards. It tells you to wait for cashier authorization which never comes.
I have a German license, and US passport to prove I am over 21.
However, the worker refused to sell it to me because it was not an American license since you have to scan the barcode on the back.
He then refused to even sell it to my mother, saying he knows it is going to me.
He said this is a Speedway policy. I asked what Canadians do, and he said they are in the same boat and that they used to have a way to enter in the information if the ID was not scanable but Speedway got rid of it.
It's absolutely ridiculous and discriminating against people with no NYS license.
If this is company policy, Speedway needs to make a change.
Another example: Even while I was waiting for him to contact a manager, a man behind me, clearly over 60, had an expired license and was also unable to get cigarettes, although the license proves his age.
My mother and I just got into a massive argument with an employee because of them being out of small cups. Never have we ever spoken to customers like they way she spoke to us. This girl just starred at me, batting her ridiculous lashes, like we were going to fight right there. It was extremely awkward. The line of people behind me were laughing at her. Some people should not be in customer service. Go anywhere else but here.
Down hill since it became a 7-11 owned. Miserable employees that continually make rude and inappropriate comments about customers and fight or argue with other employees. There are a handful that just gotta go. It took me months to finally post a comment about how bad it's become.Happy new year!
