I adore this place. The coffee is amazing. Always. The food is really good. Today was a different experience. I ordered pickup through Uber Eats. I ordered about 20 minutes before my arrival. The coffee wasn’t ready. I don’t mind. Hot coffee is delicious. The lovely lady handed me my coffee and said have a good day. I still had an omelette waiting. So I told her I was still waiting on a omelette. She checked the receipt. Then her digital device for orders and said it was still being prepared. It wasn’t. It was sitting on the table waiting to be handed out. I stood there for another 5 to 7 minutes watching my food as she continued fixing others. Finally she walked over to the counter, read the ticket, and handed me my food. No apology. No oops. No request to at the very least heat it. Just here yah go. Mistakes happen. No big deal. For reference she seen the box and still ignored it. Guess she didn’t want to read the ticket. Not sure. Just sad. My omelette is cold now. lol still managed to be good. Even cold. Haha.

Went to get a mocha shake on break on 11/11/25 because I work next door at the dental office. Ordered while my boyfriend smoked outside. When he came in we were looking at the casing of bakery goods while waiting for my shake to be made. The girl at the register who initially took my order came over to us and asked my boyfriend if he was ordering something. He said no we’re just waiting for her order. She got nasty with him and said “well that’s not the waiting area that’s the ordering area.” No one was even in line and we weren’t in anyone’s way. My boyfriend told her well it’s taking forever for her drink, so… to which she replied well if you consider 4 minutes forever in a rude condescending tone. Then she proceeded to say “well this place is for people that ordered something.” Like hello? I ordered something and my boyfriend was waiting with me like that’s a problem? Very rude and unprofessional barista. Nasty attitude and she should really check herself.

The food was great, but the service was terrible. The lady working register was very nasty, unprofessional (used profanity), and on some power trip. All because I paid for mine and my groups food, she tried to stop people with me from using the restroom stating they need to make a purchase after I just bought their food. Ran around the counter and got in front of them, until an older employee stepped in (assuming the manager/owner) and let us use the restroom. We were then walking by the stores entrance moments later and the same lady opened the door and stuck her middle finger up at us. This was the Halloween event that happened on Sat. Oct 25.2025. Very disappointed with her actions. But the bagels were delicious.

I have been going to this Spot on and off for decades and this is the first bad experience I have had. The staff was wonderful but I got home, excited to eat my sandwich only to find they had given me someone else's order. Given I have celiac disease I couldn't even eat what they gave me instead so it is going to waste. I tried to call but the mailbox was full so I guess I am out however much it was and without my sandwich.

Had a great morning brunch at the SPoT Coffee on Delaware the other day. Coffee was excellent and the egg & bacon sandwich was delicious. Tariq was very helpful in assisting in my order and made my stay a pleasant experience. Would recommend.

Loved the cozy environment of the cafe. Ordered classic grilled cheese sandwich, it was delicious. They serve in to-go boxes so you can take the leftovers at home. They have good number of options in the menu. The cafe is large with 50/60 sitting area. The washroom is nice and clean. The interior is nice. There was a Bangladeshi gentleman working at the counter, he was so kind with us. Gave us details about the each menu. Highly recommended.
Sorry folks my 15+ year routine of buying 2 bags of whole bean house blend a week has come to an end. It's not me, it's you. I stuck with you when the bags shrunk from 16oz to 12oz. I stuck with you when you dropped the rewards program for a Tuesday discount, a discount that none of the employees seem to remember. I even stuck with you during the last price hike. You got greedy though. Now you want $16.95 for 12oz! $1.41 /oz is 98% more than what Starbucks is charging. 87% more than Great Lakes Coffee Company. That's even 26% more than Underground Coffee, one of the smallest roasters around.
Thank you for giving me the final nudge to end this toxic relationship. I will miss you a lot and will think fondly of all our mornings together. Good luck out there.

Always try to support the local coffee shops but SPOT was tough. Maybe a bad day, but bakery items were not edible. Maybe if they had an option to warm up if needed. Seasonal latte was tough to take. I tried to get recommendations but the server/barista would not answer any questions. I was the only customer on Tuesday morning but he just said that he was “not sure” and had no recommendations.

Fun little coffee shop in Buffalo. We were traveling and needed a place open early and the spot did not disappoint! The barista knew every local’s name that walked through the door. How cool! Only suggestion would be free refills on regular hot coffee, but maybe this isn’t customary in NY/Buffalo area.
