What an excellent smaller venue to hang out with the locals. Descent prices on beers and cocktails. The patrons were very friendly. Brett the bartender was a breath of fresh air with a great attitude and knowledge of the brews. Very friendly for our first time visiting!!! Great Porter brew!

Great first day at Spotted Octopus in Rochester! Loved the beer, food and especially the service. The new systems threw the team a few curveballs, but the staff kept their cool and made customer satisfaction the #1 focus. Opening on parade day proved to be the perfect pressure test and they definitely succeeded.
Cool, tiny, OLD brick building. Awesome decor! Good beer. And I for one, appreciation the server’s “questionable morals” 🤣🤣🤣

Tiny bar on the side with a great stair case taking up the central space and nice dining room style seating. the owners are the draw, great guys putting in the work to create a great space and entertain ppl. lots of games available and the crowd is of all ages. pro: talkative and knowledgeable bartenders con: limited bar seating and is it safe to park in the lot across the street?
