Horrible customer service. If you want a great drink without the horrendous attitude, I recommend any other cafe downtown. There’s also a 30% rate of baristas at this location getting my drink order incorrect. Nothing worse than paying top dollar only to take a giant sip of — something other than what you ordered … but really it’s the customer service that ended my patronage of this location. What a shame.

Older hotel and it shows it with wear and tear in common areas and sleeping rooms. Generally good location in downtown Buffalo close to some good restaurants & social areas. Service from front desk and bar/restaurant staff inconsistent.

I paid over $600 a night for a king room and I was given a room with two double beds. I had booked this room over a month in advance. The floor, walls, and furniture all had stains on them. Fortunately, the bar staff and drinks were excellent!

The Hyatt Buffalo was such a wonderful place to stay for a business conference. Not only did I take advantage of the in-house starbucks in the morning and bar in the evening, but the location is central to any and everything you'd need. We walked everywhere! The staff was kind and helpful and the overall environment was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Don’t stay here. My room and two other people in my group had rooms that ONLY had HOT water. Zero cold water. Mentioned it to Mgmt and Engineering told me this is known issue in several rooms for some time. They can’t solve it and engineering staff changes over often. No cold water to drink from faucet. Only scalding HOT water in shower- so need to shower quick or stay in the pain longer. Also had broken desk lamp. Engineering changed the bulb but lamp was still dangling as tension cable on desk lamp arm was broken.

This hotel provided the required needs for a business trip. It was very close to the Buffalo Convention Center and has an indoor walkway to the BCC in the event of rain. The bar/restaurant area was nice, but the rooms could use some updating. The carpet in my room could use a good shampooing. While it didn't feel dirty, there were very visible stains. The young man at the reception desk wasn't very personable but the valet team was great!

The Hyatt Buffalo offered pretty much everything that I would expect from an upscale city hotel. The room was pleasant and comparatively large, there was a large television and a small refrigerator, and the bed was comfortable. The clock worked, and the Wi-Fi was good. The bathroom was somewhat small, but was well appointed. The location was very good. On the downside, the room was expensive, but so were all of the other downtown hotels, and parking cost an extra $25. For Buffalo? I didn’t notice a lot of noise at night until one other doors on the hallway closed, but it was not a problem. All in all, it was a decent hotel. I just didn’t like paying $200 for a weekend night.

I would not ever recommend a Hyatt to anyone ever again. This place was an absolute dumpster dive. The staff was somewhat friendly but I felt like I was doing something wrong when I complained about the room conditions. A visiting manager even agreed with me that this hotel needs a lot of work. He said that will be his review of the place as well seeing he has only been there for 4 days.

I was there for one night stay with my family. It was a two bed room. Although there was a problem of parking my car, but hotel staff guided me to get a free spot. That was amazing. Room was neat and clean. Highly recommended compared to its rate per night.

I usually do not write reviews, but honestly this Starbucks location annoys my core being. First, they’re a solo Starbucks so don’t expect to use the Starbucks app to get points or a gift card from Starbucks cause they won’t accept it. Secondly, today I go in there for a drink and I wait about 15 minutes in line only to be told at the register they’re only accepting cash cause their credit card machine is down. The lady at the register totally forgot that their own machine is down, so the guy Infront of me had to leave everything and find an ATM (a waste of time). So I try to use the app to pay for myself, and of course they don’t accept it. So I tell the lady at the register, “y’all should be telling people your credit card machine is down so they’re not wasting their time in a line”. We live in the 21st century, who Carry’s cash anymore?? Anyways, as I’m walking away, the young girl at the registers said “i don’t know why he’s giving me attitude there’s a sign”. Meanwhile the sign is very close to the register, and in the smallest of fonts. There’s sign after sign after sign advertising food, and she expects anyone to see the small font? Usually, people use their vocal cords and forewarn people that their registers in down when there’s long lines and in general, rather than expect a customer to see a sign with 10 inch font and way too close to the register for anyone to see until they’re at the register. A piece of advice Starbucks, 1) hire competent workers who know how to provide customer service 2) put a big sign on your entrance door so customers can make a decision 3) have functional machines

I drove 12 hours to be met by the 2 most gracious valet staff I have ever dealt with. They were kind, friendly, and very accommodating. Check in was a breeze and guided this weary person to options for food for my whirlwind stay. I got checked in and landed in the hotel restaurant 10 minutes before closing. Everyone from the waitstaff to the cooks were great. They waved off my apologies and cooked me a great steak (which I graciously took to my room so they could finish up and go home). In the morning the valet took my luggage to my vehicle so I could start my day - this was more than what I asked for. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and centrally located to everything I needed. Take your bragging rights and go. You all did an amazing job and I will be back.
