Went for a birthday dinner. Had only one type of pierogi. Visited at 5:00 on a Friday. They were "out of" potato pierogis. They were also " out of" potato pancakes and kielbasa. Really? On a Friday afternoon? I've been there before and it was much nicer. Wait staff was generically helpful. A man server/host kept interrupting our meal to ask how we enjoyed it. Which is nice, but a bit excessive seeing as they were "out of" what some people wanted. I don't know if I would return after those experiences.

Best perogies in Buffalo. Hand crafted dippers are a 10/10. Crispy and delicious.

First time at Sto Lat. Especially pleased with attentive server, new cocktail, quality of food at fair price points. Live music and lively atmosphere on a Wednesday will bring us back. Thank you Ania.

I got the steak frites and I wish I took a picture because there were LITERALLY 5 pieces of steak and about 7 fries on the plate lol I wish I was kidding - I’m not. It was such a small portion and $30! My husband got the Chicken Milanese and said it was 2 pieces of fried chicken on lettuce with nothing but lemon juice on it. Also around the $30 range. Apps were pretty good (got the egg rolls and the dippers). The dessert was just okay too. It was the chocolate brownie, but the brownie was a brick and freezing cold lol it was basically just a cosmic brownie with ice cream. I was laughing the entire way home about the meals, honestly hahaha. I think going there for apps and handhelds is the move. I wouldn’t recommend coming for dinner plates at all. We played trivia and it was really fun and the espresso martinis are good though!

Friends took me here for my birthday. Food was very salty and not good. I had a Polish platter. Was terrible. Pierogis tasted frozen and old. Took very long for our food and server only came back once to give us the check. Overpriced and not good. Wouldn’t go back.

Great staff all around. Sto lat makes you feel like you’re apart of the family, that alone makes me continue to come back. The food is amazing and their live music is entertaining.
Julie was super nice and even though there were a lot of people! We had a great time

Stopped by last Thursday evening. Had drinks, some food, and played some team trivia sponsored by the establishment. Atmosphere is fantastic and the crowd is friendly and easy to mingle with.
I ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich. This dish is hard to find these days. The moment I saw it on the menu, I was sold. It's one of my all time favorites. They offer it with a unique twist. You can have maple syrup and/or strawberry jam on the sandwich or the side.
I took those toppings on the side. The presentation was great. The sandwich itself was just okay. The cheese was very well melted but that caused the meat to slip out of the bread too often, making this a challenging and messy handheld.
It was however quite flavorful albeit rather dry despite the slippery cheese. I could have applied the toppings to moisten it up but that shouldn't be necessary on a Monte Cristo.
The rest of the experience was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. Trivia was fun with an engaging host. I'll be back again to use my 2nd Place gift card. Giving Sto Lat 5 stars despite my small complaints about the sammy, but I reserve the right to change my rating should the dining experience repeat itself.

As I said in the initial review, I reserve the right to change my rating, and that is exactly what I am doing.
Went back to this establishment tonight Intended to order food but the circumstances with Trivia were rushed and so I decided against it. I order my first drink which was served to me by the kid with the man bun. He's awesome. Excellent server/bartender.
His shift seemed to end though and old guy with a fully shaven head took over. He at first appeared to be a fun gent but as the evening played out it was clear that this person is not too bright and an emotional midget as well.
I waited nearly 10 minutes with an empty drink. At this point, here was no one at my end of the bar and there was on couple at the other end. I was waiting so long that I turned on the stopwatch app that my phone has and began timing him. He stood there behind this empty bar, washing glasses. He'd dip a glass, wipe it off, and turn and place it on a shelf.
Then he would turn back and glance around, looking in my direction each time. The glasses washing process would then repeat. 6 glasses later I finally decided I'd had enough of his negligent service and I flagged him down. I said to him, "You've looked over here several times and my glass has been empty. What are you seeing when you look this way?"
That was going to be the end of it for me but this bonehead couldn't let it go. After giving some wildly lame excuse for himself, he proceeded to mix my next drink, a mudslide. I told him it looked good. He quipped, "Chocolate milk," and promptly walked away. Kinda of funny but he doesn't know me like that and his tone completely gave him away. He was butthurt, and I hadn't even told him how long I'd been waiting.
Roughly 45 minutes later, this mental case approaches me and says, "Oh, you were looking at the TV over my head. I thought you were trying to get my attention with your eyes." LOL WHAT!
That statement was a total fabrication. I had not been looking at that TV at all, which was down at the other end of the bar. The empty headed galoot was just retaliating. That's how lowbrow this guy is. He still felt like he needed to get me back somehow. No emotional intelligence. He was still upset. Like, wow. Bad for business.
He should not be working with customers. Customer facing roles are not for him, despite his obvious delusions of grandeur. One of those dumb loud types who thinks people enjoy his character.
He created a very negative customer experi

Got the Taste of if Poland board. This place was recommended to me by someone from Poland so I thought it would be good.
It wasn't though...it was greasier than the most greasy spoon Chinese place you could imagine, there was a pool of oil in the corner of the container. The food left a film of grease in my mouth. The container of food was worth $8 not $30. Nothing special about it at all, I gave it 2 instead of one stars because I
did manage to get it down (since I was hungry and paid $30 for it).
Never again, sorry, that's my honest opinion.
Fantastic evening at the Sto Lat! The service from Jaden was wonderful and our dinners and drinks were delicious! We're looking forward to returning again soon!

Everything was great except the volume of the live entertainment. It was hard to have a conversation with the loud music.

Went tonight for for trivia night. Ordered drinks with a friend and 3 appetizers. Very disappointed in all of them. We initially ordered the stuffed mushrooms but waitress said they were sold out which was no problem so we found another appetizer to order. All the appetizers we ordered had no flavor and took forever to come out. It wasn't even that busy to justify the time. Told the waitress the one appetizer we ordered which was the stuffed pepper bites were awful with no flavor. She apologized and took them away. She said she would take care of it and when we got the bill she only removed $2 off. Horrible customer service and horrible food. We will never go back. All the appetizers were lacking flavor and overpriced for the quality. The water served was also lukewarm. There was also a dog that was there tonight which was odd since it was inside a restaurant especially since it was a very large dog. We will never go back.

We came in with a large group tonight for dinner and DJ Trivia. We’ve been here before for brunch and enjoyed our visits. This was the first time we came in the evening. The venue is nice, trivia was fun, just about everything else was terrible. The server was barely present and never around for additional items or drinks. We were there for hours and the only drink (1 round) we were able to get, we had to ask the server for. We would have spent much more if we were able too. Food took foreeeevvvvveeeerrrr to come out and was not good. One person in our party asked about the wings and the server told him how fantastically they were prepared and that they were really good and her favorite. 3 people on our party ended up ordering them and they couldn’t have been worse. We are in Buffalo! No way should wings like that come out of a kitchen in Buffalo. They had no flavor at all and were clearly fried for the 2nd or 3rd time (each time too long). To say they were dry is an understatement. The rest of the food was ‘meh’ and not worth the price. Food being bad and service being bad and non existent, this was a terrible experience. To top it off we were forced to pay a 20% gratuity because of the size of our party. In no way did the server even earn half of that with her effort or performance.
