If I could give zero stars I would! We had a truly terrible experience at Sun Cuisines, and I feel obligated to share it so others don’t waste their time or money here.
From the moment we walked in, the service was completely inattentive. We stood at the entrance for with no greeting or acknowledgment. One of the staff members, a girl at the front, was just sitting there on her phone, barely looking up. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional.
When we finally got seated, the situation didn’t improve — in fact, it got worse. The food was just plain awful. Everything was either overcooked and mushy or rock hard. The pad Thai is completely different than what it should taste or look like, it was looked tossed together with a mix of red sauces. We barely touched our meals, and no one even noticed or cared enough to check in on us.
We weren’t offered any drinks besides water, and no server ever came back to ask how things were. After trying to flag someone down, we asked to speak to a manager — and were told there wasn’t one there. No apology, no effort to make things right. Just total indifference.
The lack of leadership really shows here. Poor service, terrible food, and zero accountability. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else. This place is a mess.

We had a large table and the food /service was awesome!
We ordered from there for the first time and it will definitely be the last. I ordered chicken ramen and it was disgusting. Very bland, tasted like dirt, the chicken was dry and the mushrooms tasted like they were never cleaned. I also ordered the coconut shrimp. It was ok, a little over cooked. The only good thing about my meal was the taro custard I got and it wasn’t even what I originally ordered. My boyfriend got the chicken pad Thai and he also said it was flavorless but more edible than my ramen.

I adore Sun Cuisines! Their menu is full of vegan and vegetarian options; even if you are unsure about something, the staff is willing to answer any questions and modify a dish to be made vegan.
Edit: I am sad to say I had to bring this down from a five star review. Their quality and level of service has gone extremely downhill the last two times I’ve been. Severe delays in our food coming out led to some of our party having finished their meals before others even got theirs in front of them. The food has become bland, lacking the bold spices and flavors I enjoyed in the past. Even the amount of your chosen protein has gone down to just a handful of pieces. It really makes me sad as I have greatly enjoyed Sun, but clearly something has changed for the worse.
