This place is amazing! Every time I get food here I’m impressed. I would absolutely recommend this place. Support local. Support small business. Support black business. Support vegan!
GREAT & AMAZING. Ordered via the app easily and food was ready prior to expected time. The Impossible Niyah w/fries was DELICIOUS and we could bathe in that cheese sauce. Very easy to get to this location and plenty of parking. Staff was so friendly! Can’t wait to come back, thank you for bringing a 100% vegan restaurant with so many amazing options to Buffalo!
The food and experience was excellent! Vegan philly and street tacos were amazing. Thank you, and you’re very much appreciated!
Your street tacos & vegan philly were amazing! Thank You, and appreciate what you’re doing!
These are the best vegan wings I've ever had. Mostly because they're the only gluten free vegan wings I've found in Buffalo BUT they're still amazing. They are very accommodating with allergies and everything I've gotten from here is so yummy. Even my non-vegan boyfriend likes it! Definitely my new favorite go-to for comfort food. Also, they seem to be doing really well with Covid restrictions. I feel safe picking up food from here. Just a great place all around.
As someone who doesn't eat meat, of course I had to try Sunshine Vegan Eats. While I'm still looking for the dish that absolutely amazes me, I've enjoyed what I ordered, and there's still a lot of the menu I haven't tried.I've tried a lot of faux-beef and chicken, so when I saw that Sunshine Vegan had vegan shrimp and fish on the menu, I wanted to try those since they're not as commonly found. I got the Jefferson, which is a vegan shrimp po' boy. I used to like real shrimp, but the texture of the vegan shrimp was definitely not right. The rest of the sandwich was fine, but I didn't care for the shrimp at all. I enjoyed the Legendary Fish Sandwich a lot more. The vegan fish tasted like Gardein's Fishless Filets, which you can find in the grocery freezer aisle. I happen to like Gardein, so no issue there for me.My husband, who stopped eating meat more recently than I did, loves the Kick Ass Burger so much that he isn't really inclined to try anything else on the menu. He was really impressed by how meat-like the patty tasted. I haven't tried the burger yet, but will have to at some point, if he loves it that much. The sandwiches come with an ample amount of fries, but unfortunately they don't travel well. We've gotten our food as delivery, but maybe the fries are a lot better if you pick up your food yourself and eat right in the car. We don't live that far, but the fries are still pretty limp by the time we get to eating. The onion rings are also floppy by the time they get to us, but they don't skimp on the breading/batter, if you're a fan of that. Two little things I think could be improvements would be if Sunshine Vegan Eats: 1) put sauces on the side to help prevent foods from getting soggy, and 2) provided more ketchup for meals that come with fries (when we ordered two sandwiches that both came with a lot of fries, plus a side of onion rings, we only got three packets of ketchup, and definitely had to supplement with our own condiments). But we'll definitely order again, since there's still so much we haven't tried.
Amazing experience at this little hidden gem!! Food was absolutely the best. Soul food feel with all vegan menu!! We'll be coming back, over and over!! Highly recommend
The food is always excellent. Impossible Niyah is my favorite and the vegan shrimp tacos are good as well.
I haven't tried a lot of Vegan food, so my expectations were modest going in, but i had the Impossible Niyah Steak hoagie and it was bomb! It came with a fries and honestly, I didn't think about the fact that there was no meat on that "steak" hoagie the entire time. It was that good. Highly recommend checking out if you want to try some delicious vegan eats.If I ever went vegan, I'd feel good knowing options this good are out there!
This place literally blew me away with how delicious it is, never knew vegan food could taste this good. Definitely on my list of places I will eat out from on weekends.
This place is hands down the best vegan spot in Buffalo. The management and staff are kind and welcoming, the food is to die for, and the prices are reasonable. The vegan Philly and the vegan pastelitos are amazing. I can't wait to go back and try the chicken and waffles.

If my review was based on food alone it would be a 5, much like if my review was based on everything else it would be 1...so meet in the middle. Full disclosure I am a meat eater so use that as you will when I assess the food but I do dabble in all cuisine including vegan. We placed an order at 11am for 1pm pickup only to arrive and have to wait 30 minutes, no acknowledgement throughout the wait until I asked for an update and even then the customer service was a bit lacking. No sorry, thank you for your patience, just sent me on my way. Since I was on lunch from work you can imagine this did not thrill me. Additionally prices on the menu are not what the actual price is, if ordering online the app prices are accurate but not on any of the menus - example: buffalo chicken is posted for $14.00 but actual costs $14.56. Not sure if this is built in sales tax due to the strange amount but they charge tax too. Ok enough complaining, onto the food - if all that prior hadn't occurred and I was judging food alone? Great! I got the buffalo ranch sandwich with fries, if I didn't know ahead of time it was oyster mushrooms I would have just assumed I was eating chicken! Great flavor and filling. Roll could use an upgrade but it managed to hold up. And fresh cut fries are fabulous! Those who also ordered said their food was great too. If they can improve their timing and service then I think they'll be 5 stars in no time.
Ordered the Kick A** burger and the Sun Ray burger. The food was great. Considering they make the patties themselves, and a non-vegan restaurant burger is about the same price point or higher, I believe the prices are very fair.Cons:I ordered over the phone, but when I got there to pay and pick up, my order had not been started as it was lost in translation. I ended up having to wait an extra 40 minutes on top of the 25 minute wait time given over the phone for my order. I also was not given an estimated wait time in the store for when my order would be ready. Plenty of other people did come in and receive their pickup orders in a somewhat timely manner (wait time around 10-15 mins). The music selection is also good, but they could lower the volume a bit to make it easier for the workers to hear customers and for customers to hear when their name is being called. This is my first time ordering from this restaurant, so I’ll update in the future. Bottom line is, I believe they are busier than usual due to restaurant week, so I’ll keep an open mind.
I had the vegan steak hoagie and it was amazing! So tasty and fresh. I will definitely be ordering from here again
