I don’t leave reviews to tear businesses down, but to share real experiences—and I have no reason to get on here and lie about mine. Unfortunately, my order from Sweets Lounge & Restaurant was disappointing.
I ordered a steak hoagie, and what I received was underwhelming. The bread was soggy, the sandwich only had onions with no cheese, banana peppers, or homemade sauce as described. It lacked flavor and quality. On top of that, I ordered a 5-piece chicken finger and only received 3 pieces. Accuracy and consistency are just as important as taste, and both fell short here.
I want to be the voice for three groups of people: those considering trying this place, those who already have, and those who may have spoken up before only to receive a negative response. If criticism is met with dismissal instead of accountability, it’s hard to believe serious improvements will ever be made.
I support Black-owned businesses and genuinely want to see them thrive, but quality, customer care, and respect for the customer’s experience can’t be compromised. I hope this review is taken as constructive feedback and a reminder that presentation, consistency, and flavor are the keys to growth and success.

Just order fried Haddock from them...the aroma smelled like old chicken grease and the fish was too damn SALTY...couldn't really eat it nor enjoy it. I will NEVER order anything from this establishment ever again. I despise inconsiderate places that has zero regard for and no concern whatsoever for folks health concerning salt or what a persons preference may be...there not even an option when odering... they don't even pick up the fone...they just pile the SALT on chile!!

I got my order but no shrimp was supposed to be haddock and shrimp and the box wasn’t sealed the fish was great but I paid 47$ to have missing shrimp first time customer and that’s saf

First time and last time ordering. The yams were not sweet. I had to fix it up myself, it was more on the savory side. I ordered mac and cheese and it was okay. Not a favorite but it was fine. I ordered on Uber eats and It was supposed to me country fried chicken wings, they just gave me overly fried regular plain chicken wings, no breading at all. The peach cobbler was not tasty at all. It was strong with some sort of spice, maybe allspice.. idk but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. They definitely have to get back to the drawing board with their food because this was not worth $40+ dollars. Please, look over and taste your food as you cook.

Terrible food all the owners do is talk shi it seems like they use the same grease cause u can taste it owners just watch the cameras while they work and the bar dirty I swear I saw roaches I had to get out of their 😭😭
