Awesome place to watch soccer games. The atmosphere is wonderful and so are the staff. The brunch menu is great and I would love to try their lunch/dinner menu. We love coming here!

The exact embodiment of an Irish Pub you'd imagine if someone asked you to think of the ideal Irish pub, except without the stereotype redhead with green eyes at the door. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food was decent, drinks served fast, and probably the best spot to take a date on Saint Paddy's (which I failed to do).Edit to add: each time I've been by here, Megan has been hostess/server. She's great! Instantly personable, relatable, a delight. If you can afford to spend a bit, the Banshee is really the best little spot to hang out. The charm of the space, and the staff, makes each visit deeply satisfying.Parking: There are a number of paid parking lots and paid parking garages in the area, but it's smack in the middle of downtown, so expect to pay for your time there. Ride services and cabs are ideal anyway, to prevent bad judgement after a few pints. To be honest, parking right in front of the building on Franklin St is *supposed* to be city street parking with meters, but some ppl have said they park there constantly and never pay anything (at least not in the afternoon/evening). Your call if you want to risk it. You can also pay $30 for the lot next door, if you really need some peace of mind.Wheelchair accessibility: Although the upper floors won't be accessible, the ground floor doors are accessibly wide and swing light on their hinges. The bathrooms can be a little snug to get thru the doors, but there are of course accessible stalls when thru those.

Trying again, last time ordered Irish stew, not even a sliver of meat, albeit flavorful 'broth' and lots of carrots. Waitress never came back until removing empty plates and to give us the check. So unable to complain. Going again tonight, will see if service improves, unfortunately I will not try the stew again. Update: Better then previous visit, my companions even said something about not ordering the stew this time. 3 of us had salmon, we really liked the choice, plates were cleaned except for a few asparagus pieces with about 3" of dried out ends that were not edible. 4th person had chicken pot pie, comment it was really good, and joked that it even had meat in it. Service was much better this time, even with it being rather busy. We'll probably go back again.

Not only the best pub in Buffalo, but one of our most favorite Irish pubs that we've ever been to. Truly feels like Ireland in here; great selection of Irish whiskey and we've also discovered some Irish gins here that we now love as well. There's often live Irish music which just adds to the ambiance. It's roomy enough inside to accommodate big crowds, but still feels cozy during quieter times. I love, love, love their menu - delicious pub fare but also plenty of Buffalo classics. Their curry chips are my favorite! The owners and bartenders are so friendly and welcoming, everyone we bring here loves it right away. We've moved out of state now, but visiting the Banshee every time we're back in town feels like coming home!

The outside of the restaurant looks and feels like you’re walking into an actual Irish pub. Once you get inside the place is FAR bigger than you imagine. Very clean. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We got the giant pretzel and cheese as an appetizer and for dinner I got bangers and mash which I devoured and my gf had beef on week and loved it. The music is all Irish themed like drop kick murphys style or Irish folk music, which really made the atmosphere sink in and made you feel at home. We will definitely be going back for brunch and then again on St Patrick’s day. The patio is huge and looks like it will be a blast when it’s full.
