I go to the bean on hertel all the time!! Their turkey club is the best and the seasonal lattes never miss, definitely worth the trip! If you’re a dog person you’ll loveee the decorations

NOT NEW YORK STYLE AT ALL. let me start off saying the food was not bad. But to claim that they are new york style bagles is a crying shame. They are egwashed round breads. A nys bagle is first boiled in water and baking soda then baked. If you are coming here bc u grew up in nyc and miss the bagels you will be verry disappointed. Also u go to nyc and get a bacon egg and cheese on a bagle at any little corner bagel shop it's like 4.50 5$ max not $8 and 4.50$ for a plain black coffee wild. I am not saying the food is bad but in terms of nys style this is not in the food or the price.

Have been here a couple of times and the drinks are decent, bagel are not & if you order more than 1 thing, be prepared to wait AT LEAST 30 minutes. Never been to a slower coffee shop before - but the drinks are good

My wife and I made a trip over to check the place out and we really enjoyed it! We both got breakfast sandwiches and lattes. The maple breakfast sandwich was basically breakfast on a bagel, in the best way possible. Both seasonal lattes (tiramisu and creme brûlée) were great! We agree that we’ll definitely be back.

Awesome neighborhood cafe. Great, friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere. At peak times there can be a bit of a wait but that’s a reflection of its popularity. Bagels are different but great. If I have a complaint on food it’s that the breakfast sandwiches are a bit skimpy on the egg and bacon/sausage compared to the size of the bagel, so they’re a little too bread-y. Otherwise food is excellent. One of my favorite spots.

It's a cute and charming place. Good coffee and excellent service. I enjoy the wall of pets. That really brought a smile to my face.

I stopped in for the first time since this place was Daily Planet. I ordered an asiago bagel, I was suggested the vegetable cream cheese by the employee, I was not disappointed. I'm not sure why others complain their bagels aren't dense enough. It was huge and plenty dense in my opinion.

I also got the pistachio cherry hot latte. It was just the right amount of sweetness without tasting like a surgery mess. And the flavor was perfect.

I'm sure I will be back.

I've been a big fan of The Bean since it opened. The coffee is great. The people are friendly, and the bagels are both amazing and gigantic. It's a gem of a neighborhood coffee shop. Great place to stop in, or grab a coffee to go
