Somewhat nondescript outside but inside is a Buffalo history lesson and a great attached outdoor deck. No draft beer but the bottled beer is super cold. John, the owner/bartender/cook, is looking for everybody to have a great time. Try the wings. They are first-rate. Check out the Buffalo Bartender Hall of Fame plaque in the backroom. I have never failed to have a great time here.

Owner was very mean and rude for no reason. He was also rude to my girlfriend and she did nothing wrong. We were meeting with friends for happy hour. This place sucks and I wouldn't recommend it. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

By far the coolest bar in Buffalo! A bar tender and bar museum of memorable Buffalo bars. Owner John Hoffman is a treasure! Food is excellent! A must stop in Buffalo!

A friend had saw an article on Step Out Buffalo about this bar having a great patio, and it was not wrong. The group of us arrived at this bar and when walking through the door, I felt an instant connection. I love a good dive bar, and this bar is the quintessential dive bar. I instantly felt at home. The patio is fantastic. It is a huge space that would be great to host a party at. Parking is on the street. The bartender/owner is a great man. Let's talk about the true star of the show though, the wings. Get the wings. You won't regret it. There is a lot to look at on the walls, and that is what holds part of the charm. There is also a Buffalo Bartenders Hall of Fame on the wall and if you look close enough at the pictures around it, you just might see someone you know.
