This place just doesn’t miss! The food is delicious! The portions are huge and the staff is very friendly! I highly recommend the shrimp po boy! It’s so good! And there usually 8 large shrimp on the sandwich, I had to eat half of them just to close the sandwich! All the sides are great but I’m a sucker for the red beans and rice! I’ve dined in and done take out no issues either way! I love this place and I plan on eating their food a lot in the future! Cheers Flaming Fish! Thank you!

A truly pleasurable experience. We enjoyed the food and the service. There was no greeter at the door when we arrived, and that was a bit off putting because we stood there for 15 minutes before being acknowledged. Our server, D, and another wait staff were friendly. D was attentive and timely. We wanted to start with the seafood cheddar dip, but they were out of it. We opted for the seafood fries. They were a 7/10. A bit soggy and didn't stay hot. They may have microwaved them. It was a huge serving, and there was plenty of seafood. I had the catfish fish fry with mac and cheese, rice and beans and hush puppies. The rice and beans was 10/10. I ended up eating just those and part of the muffin and being full after the fries. The mac was good, and the hush puppies were tasty. The muffin was the only part of the meal that wasn't a hit. It was hard and tasted a bit stale. My meal was a 9/10. My date had creamy pasta with salmon. It was delicious as well. Overall, FF gets a 9/10. I'm definitely returning especially for the rice and beans. They tasted super authentic.

This unassuming little seafood joint was right out the back door of my hotel (Hyatt) and serves some amazing food!
Outstanding service!!!!
I had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer (IN BUFFALO!!!) and they were outstanding. Next in line was the fried walleye with the house made macaroni salad (EXCELLENT taste and not bland) red beans and rice and collards. Being from the south, when it comes to collards I try never to order them, say, north of Baltimore. I went out on a southern culinary limb here and I was glad I did! Tender, washed and well seasoned.
All in all an excellent stop if you are looking for something other than bar food or God forbid... Buffalo wings.

The waiters dont take your order they tell you to wait for a table an then they run to the back an never take your order mind you there's nobody dinning at the restaurant at all I wanted to try the food but the service was terrible I wonder if the owners know that there employees are running off there business 🤔 very rude he sat down st the table to talk to his fellow coworkers while I stood an waited over 10 mins for a table I never got I ended up leaving

Everything I've tried at Flaming Fish has been excellent!
Our party of 4 went on Saturday about 7 pm. We each ordered something different, and everything was delicious. Our server, 'D', was great. One big drawback...there is no bar! Even a nice glass of wine or a cold beer would have gone very well with the meal, the ambiance, and the wonderful live music.
