Everything about The Flaming Fish is fabulous! Super friendly staff (D was our server) and a Southern menu that is out of this world. We had the fried green tomatoes, gumbo, herb trout and haddock with collard greens. The food is amazing! Kudos to the chef and family. Highly recommend!

Nice restaurant like the colors and vibe but the service and food was horrible ordered fish and fries they gave me the wrong side to start with so I told them this is not what I ordered they side eyed me and eventually gave me some old soggy fries the fish taste like it was fried in old grease or they refried it from earlier idk the hush puppies were hard as a rock just a underwhelming experience not worth the money or the trip stay far away

Selling hard calamari oily gumbo that is dark look like it’s black like the roux is literally black the food fried in old grease and they have nasty customer service refused to give refund this exactly why black ppl can’t support our own

The Flaming fish has amazing food! A definite if you are in downtown buffalo. Gumbo and a shrimp po boy if you think you can finish it all! Tasted amazing, and affordable!
