Food was wonderful, would recommend. However, our server was not attentive and we spent most of our meal waiting for service.

The fondue was amazing. The steak and the mushrooms were perfectly cooked and the asparagus, giant. The cocktails list was fun and every single one was worth it and a fantastic wine menu that anyone could find something they enjoy. Our entrees were just okay, mostly flavored by cheese.
The atmosphere ended up being sports bar loud with several rambunctious larger tables when we were looking for a quiet romantic night out. It happens.

Nestled in the historic Elmwood village, with tons of nightlife and classic architecture. We love going here for happy hour and having an appetizer or two at the bar. Michelle is wonderful and she always has our favorites ready for us when she sees us come in.

Price gouge and no price on beverages. Just felt I should know that a pint of Guiness is going to be 9 dollars and that you are not going to fill the glass all the way. Also wines, same a house Chardonnay for 12 bucks, 4 drinks for almost 50 dollars? Ouch. Food is good. fish and chicken prep is good.

Nice historical atmosphere and decent food. Some of the dishes are very heavy/rich which was disappointing. The food in Italy is very light, so it makes me sad seeing US Italian restaurants making their food so rich and hard to finish.
Calamari was standard, but the marinara had dijon mustard in it which was overpowering and didn't really make sense. Never seen that before.
Mushroom bisque and gumbo were really good and could have been entrees on their own.
The large ravioli, which was a special, was smothered in cream sauce/cheese and was way too much. Tortellini was my favorite entree. 14 oz strip steak was cooked perfectly, but had gorgonzola cheese on it which was overpowering and unnecessary.
Desserts were great. Especially loved the salted caramel one.
Overall, slightly above average Italian food for Buffalo.
Consistently delicious!!!
