Great addition to Barker NY! Amazing food, killer gumbo, awesome cornbread, super nice owners, reasonable pricing. 2 visits, one dine in and the other takeout. Nice asset to our community!
Outstanding food and service!
We had a sampling of many dishes.
Loved each one and will be back!

Small mom & pop diner. Cute atmosphere, clean. GREAT FOOD!!
We drove, 50 mins, from Brockport after reading about this place on Facebook.
I was in Louisiana a few years ago, and really miss the food. This place was on point! We had the Tour of the Quarter just to sample everything. Clear winner was the Gumbo. Absolutely delicious. All the entrees were fabulous. Homemade cornbread, and coleslaw delicious. Not at all spicy. Perfect. We'll be back. It's worth the drive

So good! We got the Tour of the Quarter which included a variety of the menu. It was almost impossible to say what my favorite was because everything is so good! Perhaps the crayfish etouffee inched out ahead of the rest. The owners were delightful and obviously proud of providing a good meal. We are looking forward to coming back!

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday, seating was very comfortable. The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and staff are attentive and friendly!! Portions are very generous!! We will be back!
The Proprietor’s welcomed us with true N’Orleans Big Easy charm: relaxed, attentive and with that mischievous glint in their eyes that says “you’re about to eat good.” In fact, Mr Proprietor presented our ordered drinks with a plated tasting of Gumbo (5⭐️ ‘dive’ indeed)! Food was awesome: plentiful (our 4top each got to go’s for leftovers), seasoned and fried catfish/shrimp for that desirable :crunch: spiced enough to taste, but not to overwhelm (there’s plenty of hot sauce and remoulade for extra ooomph - but you will want to taste this food — Yum). Music plays softly in background perfectly accompanying the chorus of “Yums” coming from the casual dining tables around you, turning your meal in this quaint, pristine eatery into a group experience (true story - table next to me cut off a slice of their crawfish bread and gave it to me after I wondered aloud about their starter!!!!)
