They have everything you need for sausage making
Needed vacuum seal bags. Their prices beat Superstores.
Always a wide variety of what you need , I could spend all day looking around this place !
"This place doesn't even deserve 1 star" They charged me but did not ship my order. Did not answer my questions. Will have to contact the bank to dispute the transaction.
I was trying to buy a $4500 curing cabinet, but since you don't get freight shipment cost until after you place your order, I decided to look somewhere else.
Placed an order on Dec 1, after 7 days no notice of order being shipped. Have sent 2 requests with no response.
I have used this place several times in the past and have been very happy. Recently I made an order on a Sunday for supplies and by Friday afternoon it still hadn’t been shipped from the facility! I was told they don’t make shipments on weekends which is totally understandable but near the end of the 5th business day it still hasn’t been shipped so I had them cancel the order. That is completely unacceptable! Alison, the customer service rep was very professional and prompt with email responses but other than that poor service. I have referred several hunting friends to them but am spreading the word to order a few weeks in advance or drive to the nearest butcher supply store.
I want to take a minute to recognize the efforts of John P. at sausage maker. This gentleman went well above and beyond to resolve an issue I had with a recent purchase of some hog casings. With customer service rapidly declining in most of the vendors I use, dealing with John was a welcomed change. My hat's off to you John and sausage maker for the quality customer service you provided.Well done.
Has everything you need to make jerky and sausage. With so many seasonings it's hard to choose. The first time I made venison sausage the guy answered every question I had.
When you order sausage making products that are supposed to deliver several days before you need them and start thawing a large quantity of meat (80 lbs) only to get two late shipping notifications and find out the products are going to deliver well after your window for safe food processing, you can’t really call your company the sausage maker. More like the spoiled meat maker. If you’re buying only shelf stable products, and don’t need them to arrive in any promised time frame, then I suppose consider buying from these folks. Otherwise, I’d suggest finding a competitor that can make good on their delivery dates. Will be working to get a refund that will fall way short of what I’ll be out in meat quality that I’ll have to refreeze.

Stand Out Customer Service and Products
The absolute best place to go for sausage, smoking, and curing supplies. Huge display of spices that put big-box store prices to shame!
Unresponsive customer service
Great owners that care. Unbelievable product selection.
Really blown away by The Sausage Maker's incredible customer service. I live in Vietnam and foolishly chose the cheapest shipping option to have some casings delivered here. the box got lost in transit somewhere along the way, and when I emailed the company asking if they had received any notification, they responded within a few hours and took it upon themselves to immediately ship a new order with a better shipping option at no extra cost. The 1st box getting lost was not their fault at all, yet they were extremely responsive and friendly throughout the whole process. I just received the second package, and honestly it feels like Christmas morning. They have made a lifelong customer out of me, and I will sing their praises to whoever i come across who has an interest in sausage casings. Thank you!
