This place is a Buffalo icon. I've been going there for quite some time on and off but recently fell in love again during the JCS showing. Bob, the owner has been doing this for 32 years. He's a great guy and even fixed my buying tickets for the wrong date. They have a great selection of food, adult beverages and regular beverages and some kick-ass popcorn. If you read this review please don't tell anyone about this place, let's keep it under our hats just for us. 😘
$5 cover buys a fun Wednesday night in Amherst with live music, open mic and a bar. Rock, blues and jazz resounded in the comfy space from various bands. Very welcoming - I went solo and made new friends. Will return and would recommend.
My first time and we're here for Improv Revolution. What a great show! These two are great talents. It would fun to watch a show or movie here.
Love it here
Nice venue for off the cuff viewings
Had a private screening for a short film with hip-hop/ rap music by Buffalo, NY artist 2Lit Litfast and we Had an amazing time! The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating! The venue was perfect ?? I would highly recommend.
I booked a private screening for my friend's bachelor party this past weekend and we had a great experience. Bob is very responsive and accommodating, and made the whole thing very easy. The theater itself is comfortable with great A/V quality.
Highly recommend!
Intimate setting to see fun movies
I've been a patron of the Screening Room for the better part of 15 years. I've been both a spectator and host of events there. Great setting. Something for everybody every month.
Love coming here! Great prices and love the variety of movies they play! Even special events like sing alongs, trivia and marathons!

Great, small cozy cinema that plays classic and old films. Decent snack bar. Movie theatre style seats, seats around tables, and couches are all available.
A cozy venue in a great location offering unusual film fare--including special events and festivals--plus nice refreshments!
Great venue, friendly staff, comfy seats and delish ice cream sundaes!
