The Terrace at Delaware Park

I was extremely excited to come to this restaurant since I have been looking for restaurants with nice patio views for a while in Buffalo. The view did not disappoint: I was able to have dinner when the sun was out and when it set and the lights over the water was beautiful. The patio was nicely decorated with plants and even had a heater when it got chilly. However, it took over an hour for our dinner to arrive to the table and we had to flag a different waiter down to ask about the status of our meal. He informed us that the fryer broke down, which we understood but it would have been nice for our original waitress to inform us so we were not left waiting for over an hour, possibly with different dinner options. We ordered the truffle fries and tuna ahi nachos as appetizers and fish fries and scampi as entrees. The appetizers were flavorful and delicious. The fish fry was extremely bland (as in no seasoning at all) and the scampi was decent. It was a little disappointing after waiting so long for the food, as I took my boyfriend to this spot after he traveled 5 hours here from Calgary and was hoping for a romantic date with yummy foods.

Our waitress was great, and right over the water is such a fun place to eat, the fish is bland, and jambalaya is.....well not the greatest, drinks were STRONG if you like that (I seen a review saying they weren't but it must depend because we had no issue with ours) cheesecake was good, would probably return for the dessert and drinks! We were a group of 7, everyone else enjoyed their food, I just want to put that out there because one persons 'not the greatest' doesn't mean you won't like it! This place is worth the try.

Can’t say enough about how great my son & daughter in-laws wedding was at The Terrace. Everything was just fantastic and beautiful!

The food was amazing. The filet mignon that the majority of us all had was fantastic & the best steak so many of us have ever had.
I even made a point to compliment the chef!!

The staff was awesome, from dealing with Kristina the director of special events to the wait staff, the bartenders & the chef & kitchen staff - everyone was great.

It was a beautiful wedding a special day we will all cherish ♥️

Ordered the Wicked Tuna. It was presented as a sandwich that I had to deconstruct myself as I can't open my jaws like a snake. The tuna was bone dry. One refill (that we had to ask for) on the miniature cup of coffee was unimpressive. And then to be told by the wait staff that the manager sent her to tell us to leave was the perfect ending. Never again. My dining partner did enjoy your take on BOW.

We chose to have our wedding at the terrace because of the proximity to where I grew up, and I’ve had so many happy memories here. When I tell you, the catering staff was absolutely exceptional, extremely attentive and so kind. Kristina was amazing, and was meticulous with every detail to ensure perfection. The food/ drinks were some of the best we’ve had in years. Our decorations looked stunning! If you choose to have your wedding at the terrace just know you will be well taken care of! We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding!

They blared their PA system so loudly, that it interrupted the climax of Richard III performed by Shakespeare in Delaware Park, and disrupted the audience. It feels unnecessary and rude for the establishment to have been so loud at the end of a performance they know they share space with. I have never had this experience before while attending Shakespeare, and I am disappointed in the way the Terrace disrupted the play.

Went for brunch with a friend. Wanted to try it for awhile and it was lovely! NOLA is home so I loved their creole inspired dishes. Eggs Cochon were AMAZING. Love bottomless Sunday brunches. Sat outside. Lovely view, wonderful food , delicious cocktails and the staff was super friendly. 10/10

We had a celebration of life event in July 25’ and the staff did a great job. This, along with the location made the event very memorable. I would strongly recommend The Terrace. Pv

The Terrace at Delaware Park is such a beautiful dining spot with a stunning view of Hoyt Lake the atmosphere alone makes it worth visiting! We had the truffle fries, chicken & brie burger, Burrata and Beyond Burger, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The truffle fries were perfectly crispy and addictive. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. A perfect place to enjoy great food with a scenic backdrop in Buffalo!

Held my daughter’s wedding shower at The Terrace. I knew the atmosphere would be exceptional. I heard the brunch would be over the top by people who attended other events. What I didn’t expect was how absolutely amazing the staff would be! From an accidental meeting the day previous, Joey (the coordinator) had a calm, friendly confidence that made me feel that he had it all under control. The bartender, Kristen, was attentive and so sweet! The valet was hysterical and unbelievably friendly. He and Sean, a server, helped us unload and load all our items. To call Sean a server seems an understatement. He was quick with jumping in on whatever I needed as well as being so incredibly nice.

My husband and I got married at The Terrace this past October, and it was magical. The views were breathtaking, the fall atmosphere was perfect, and every detail ran flawlessly thanks to the incredible team at the Terrace —especially our amazing coordinator, Tina who went above and beyond. From cocktail hour to dinner and dancing, everything was beautiful and looked stunning. Our guests are still raving about the food, and the staff accommodated every request. The Terrace will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we’ll return for anniversaries and memories for years to come🤍

I got married at the Terrace on a beautiful Saturday evening in July. Kristina Schmitt made all of my dreams come true! Our ceremony in the Rose Garden was gorgeous with the most beautiful flowers! The reception was everything we could have asked for with the most amazing food, decorations, and of course drinks! All of our guests said it was the best wedding ever! Kristina is amazing and the best to work with!!
