Ripoff. $19+ for their pathetically small Reuban sandwich with barely any corned beef or sauerkraut (I hope I can post a photo). Two thin slices of brisket placed diagonally and cut to fit each slice of bread ensuring not a speck of overhang. The bread had absolutely no rye flavor and seemed cheap. The sandwhich was essentially a $7.99 Reuban you'd get at a diner, but the french fries were fantastic.
I was displeased seeing the employee who came outside with rubber gloves on, presumably the cook, who planted his entire hand flat onto the grimy stainless steel door frame outside, then used his gloved hand to use the handle and carry out the item he needed. I said grimy because the sun was shining onto the southward facing walk-in refrigerator case, which clearly highlighted all of the marring and smudges. Filth happens, but it is vastly minimized when using common sense sanitary practices, like glove discipline and washing hands.
I stayed for my order because I love Reubans, wanted to try a new place, and hoped to receive a great sandwich I normally only get this time of year. Not even one napkin in the to-go bag. The cost cutting here is beyond what I'm willing to pay for again.

Very loud environment. Food was ok, although 2 of our orders were not correct with the sides we ordered. Ribs and chicken were very dry. Very pricey menu.
Parking: No clear entrance to the dining area, so we entered through the bar.
Kid-friendliness: No children's menu.

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as I was expecting from a high end barbecue joint. I ordered this Nashville hot chicken and there was nothing hot about it (other than temperature, it was definitely fresh lol) it was described as a maple, brown sugar, spicy, breaded chicken. But it was just breaded chicken with no other flavors. They gave a sauce on the side, but the sauce was just kind of tangy, quite the opposite of sweet and spicy. I also thought it was odd that they had a "fine print" section on their menu that tells that they will charge a $5 fee for sharing plates as well as a 25% gratuity that will be automatically added to your bill. Seemed a little silly to me to have a $5 fee when it's already costing a pretty penny to dine there, (our family went there together and the bill was almost $400)I think that should cover any extra silverware that one may use.. and I also think that automatically charging a gratuity takes away from the server's motivation to earn their tip (I'd tip regardless but I think it is something that motivates servers to serve well because they might not receive as nice of a tip if they have poor service) overall it wasn't a bad restaurant, however, idk that it's the kind of place I want to spend my hard earned money at.

Excellent food. We have tried most everything on the menu. A lot of attention to detail. Example: had their fish fry recently. Fish was excellent, but the potato salad, macaroni salad, and coleslaw are all homemade. Large macaroni noodles. Used a combo of regular and sweet potato…No cheap canned junk you typically get in a Buffalo fish fry. Ribs are great with several sauces to try. Great backed beans. They have the BEST fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Their “little salad” isn’t that little and it’s absolutely delicious with several pickled vegetables. Amazing flavors. Missy is a doll at the bar. Great bartenders! They always have 8ish craft beers on tap. Decent wine selection. Fun comfortable atmosphere. Most importantly, the owners, Mandy and Jeff are always there managing their business and making sure everything is done right.
Kid-friendliness: Family friendly.

I got a four corner board, along with the bread basket
The great:
- Biscuits and Cornbread with Jam and (honey?) butter
- Fried chicken - very unique crunch and great tasting. I was most surprised by this.
- Sausage
Pretty Good:
- Ribs
- Pot Roast (tried someone else's)
- Mac and Cheese
Ok:
- Coleslaw - VERY wet and not a whole lot of flavor
TERRIBLE:
- Brisket -- super dried out and hard. Barely edible.
Overall it was pretty good but honestly the worst brisket I've ever had. Based on other posts I'm guessing this was an off day, but buyer beware.

My partner and I were out in the area running errands and wanted to stop somewhere for lunch. I wanted to try something new and he is always trying to find "northern" BBQ that is as good as the NC BBQ he grew up on. The name was the initial selling point. ADORABLE. The decor was absolutely lovely. I loved every shelf and the vibes in every room. The first place we were seated was a little too close to the back bar area for our on-the-wagon sniffers to handle so we asked to move. I felt this could have been bad for our relationship with the waitress but she was nothing but warm and friendly towards us. The menu was interesting and had a lot of traditional choices but with a fun new twist that I was very much in the mood for. I got a sample platter with ribs and fried chicken. We both loved the fried chicken. The ribs were "pretty good for up here." Mac and cheese was great and I thought the coleslaw was citrusy and a fun take but not my favorite. Prices were good for the quality of the meal. All in all I enjoyed our experience and would come back again.

There was 6 of us , two of us shared a plate (a sandwich!!) with a friend in our group, waitress never told us ( no, she didn’t have to, but any good decent waitress would have) that there is a $5.00 (yes FIVE DOLLAR CHARGE PER EXTRA PLATE, because they have to wash extra dishes etc!!) charge per plate, which was an extra $10.00 for sharing 2 sandwiches!!! Yes, she said it was in the menu, we checked and oh yes it was listed UNDER THE FINE PRINT!! None of us will EVER GO THERE AGAIN!! Absolutely ridiculous. And I and another girl have waitresses over 40 years and we for sure would have told our customers!! If we had gotten spaghetti or something , that would have been totally different. But it was a SANDWICH, that we could have used a napkin for if needed!!! Very very stupid.

It was my first visit and I ordered the Prime Rib French dip sandwich. The meat was dry and appeared to be old. There was no flavor at all to it.
That will be my last visit to this place. It was very disappointing.

Had dinner there tonight 9/19/24. My girlfriend ordered the prime rib sandwich and she said the meat was very dry and overcooked. I had a pasta dish with chicken for $26 and it only had four small pieces the size of a large gumball for chicken. Didn't come with anything extra, not even a dinner roll. I found the portion size rather small. I had to come home and make myself something else for dinner. Didn't want to send it back for fear of repercussion by the cook but I won't be back
