Had traveled back home in 2017 & of course this had to be one of my first places to have a beef on weck & had neat conversation with the owner. Unfortunately, NYS had no Medicaid available for elderly, frail as Nevada has, & I had to return quickly to Reno, NV for my Medicaid as I remain terminal with COPD - asthma, chronic bronchitis. NV provides a Medicaid Waiver outside the income restrictions for "Elderly/Frail." NYS Albany needs to wake up to this! But I hope this great liitle memorable place continues on & on & on!!! Hole-in-the-wall club type of place. Very laid-back, easy-going, and quiet (well, as quiet as a bar with live music can get). They have chairs and tables near the live music and bar, but if you're looking to have a quieter conversation they also have several tables farther away. Most importantly the employees and customers were extremely friendly, and everyone seems very happy with the little nest they've made for themselves. Highly recommended, and will definitely be dropping by during my next visit to Buffalo. Say hi to Sal for me.
